Bluestone Mortgages

Update from Bluestone - they want proof of child benefit and tax credits. They also want 6 months proof from MIL for deposit. Anyone else had to do this?
Does this seem like the last things they can ask for?0 -
@disneydreamer1985 we had to provide 3 months of statements for proof of deposit but nothing for child benefit (we don't receive tax credits). I honestly can't see any consistency with some of the requests they make!

It’s crazy! They can see all the deposits made by child benefit and the tax credits on the million statements they have! The government wouldn’t be putting it in for fun 🙄 Arrrggh! It’s not an issue getting the proof but it adds time on.Cosy2020 said:@disneydreamer1985 we had to provide 3 months of statements for proof of deposit but nothing for child benefit (we don't receive tax credits). So our valuation is being carried out on Monday and the underwriters have no further queries. Fingers crossed we are near the finish line.2

We’ve not been asked for proof of child benefit, but I don’t know if it was included in our income on application. Gifted deposit again only asked for 1 statement to show funds, but this may be because it was in an ISA?disneydreamer1985 said:Update from Bluestone - they want proof of child benefit and tax credits. Does this seem like the last things they can ask for? There really is no consistency between cases, it’s like hard searches, everyone seems to have them at different points! We have no chance of working out where we are in process lol0 -
Monday isn’t to bad, hopefully by the end of next week we will both have offers 🤞RossL40 said:So our valuation is being carried out on Monday and the underwriters have no further queries. Fingers crossed we are near the finish line.0 -
You were lucky with the gifting prof we had to jump through hoops. Just be aware on offer a special condition is that and giftors need to seek independent legal advice which must be report back to bluestonecoral_a said:

Yes, thank you! I remember seeing the issues you had with ID! I have seen about the legal advice and have already pre warned my parents! Lol I’d just like to hear anything back from Bluestone at this point! It’s like my application is in some black hole somewhere!Kb21 said:
