Hi everyone
New to the discussion so apologies if this has already been discussed.
we got our AIP and submitted a full application. Have now had it on my credit reports that bluestone have searched for first mortgage. Says it may impact credit score. Is this a good sign that things are progressing?Good luck to everyone and sorry to hear about those who are having difficulties0 -

Yes looks to be a good sign. I’ve just have the 2 soft searches at AIP stage and nothing else yet, when did you submit?0

I submitted on the 10th of May, and by Friday the 14th I can see a hard credit check had take place. I’m gussying I need to wait 13 working days now as that’s what their website states though I could be wrong? I know certain brokers have Special arrangements in place where their applications are hurried through but again, I’m not 100% what this looks like in reality.0

Whoops, wrote that whilst on a works call, but I’m sure you know what I mean!0

We've not had any credit searches on our files yet we've been told the valuation is going ahead and that we'll have an update next week. Looking back at other posts it seems so varied - some people didn't even have a credit search and got an offer! We didn't have a search for the AiP either.0

Think mine was the 11th but no hard search yet, reassuring to know that yours looks to be being worked as their website says they working cases from end of April, so I was thinking it’s going to be a fair few weeks before I hear anything.0
