We had a request from Bluestone for more info on Wednesday and that was sent back immediately. We haven’t heard anything else since. Is that normal?

When they request info are they still continuing going over your case or does it go on hold?
We have been waiting almost 2 weeks to hear anything after sending over additional information. I think sometimes it may go back to the end of the queue and can take 11-14 working days to be seen 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m finding it all a bit soul destroying at the moment 😭
Think it depends on your brokers relationship with bluestone tbh. My broker got the name and direct number for my underwriter
And rung him as soon as more information was submitted.
Yeah I’ve noticed the cases that seem to be with Simply Adverse seem to get through quicker too. Just want to bloody know now!
Who is yours with? Ours is with Simply Adverse.
We’re using an independent MA and Complete Packaging
  • We’ll get there in the end just the waiting is a nightmare.

    Totally frustrated.....
I was told I would get an update today to only be told it will be this time next week
This has been going on since the 26th of February
I’m reading all your posts and why is mine taking so long
i was supposed to complete at the beginning of April
    So stressed and upset

We are from 26th February too and we have just had valuation instructed. Its so long and frustrating and I completely understand how you feel. Seems to be getting too he final stages now but my solicitor just told me that even when the mortgage offer is made bluestone request lots of information from them before contacts are exchanged so that can take time too! Losing the will to live....
  • Try looking for another Broker, Bluestone are a waste of time

Not helpful! There’s probably valid reasons why we are all using Bluestone in the first place!

Bluestones although slow get the job done for the majority of people. This app is to help people and keep people positive. Your issue a solicitor problem not bluestones

Is this just the specials they request?

Bluestone isn’t the broker; they are the lender. The issue with contracts is your solicitor not the lender.
  • Our application was submitted Tuesday and we have had requests for some further info from Bluestones. I also have had solicitors wanting an initial payment on file to start with, I’m reluctant to do this in case it gets declined?

Ours was submitted Tuesday and we had questions from Bluestone Wednesday so think we are on similar scale? Are you with Simply?

We had to pay the solicitors £250 about 4 weeks ago to conduct searches 😫
