It seems such a long process. Though our case manager didn’t expect them to look at the case until next week and they looked at it the day after it was submitted to them.coral_a said:
We have been waiting almost 2 weeks to hear anything after sending over additional information. I think sometimes it may go back to the end of the queue and can take 11-14 working days to be seen 🤦🏼♀️ I’m finding it all a bit soul destroying at the moment 😭disneydreamer1985 said:We had a request from Bluestone for more info on Wednesday and that was sent back immediately. We haven’t heard anything else since. Is that normal? When they request info are they still continuing going over your case or does it go on hold?0 -

PLEASE DONT USE BLUESTONE I sold my house within a few weeks and paid a deposit on a new build. I had 6 weeks to exchange, that was back in January. I didn’t know at the time but my buyers have used Bluestone. My builder extended the time frame and was quite understanding, for 3 months. Then due to Bluestone delays I was forced to re-market my house, I sold it again within a few days, but I was then told that my original buyers had now received their mortgage offer and as all the paperwork was done it could all be exchanged within a week. (That was 6 weeks ago). As of today contracts have still not been exchanged, my new build plot has been re-marketed and the developer has received interest from a few other parties. Exchange and Completion for my chain is supposed to be today. I’ve spoke to my Solicitor this morning, to be told ‘THERE IS ONLY A SLIM CHANCE IT MIGHT HAPPEN TODAY’. If it doesn’t my house is back on the market and I will lose my new build. 5 months of everyone’s time has been wasted. The whole process has been a nightmare and I would never accept an offer from anyone using Bluestone again.0

If they’ve received their mortgage offer is it not the solicitors fault that contracts haven’t been exchanged?SimmAli said:PLEASE DONT USE BLUESTONE I sold my house within a few weeks and paid a deposit on a new build. Doesn’t seem like bluestones fault as they received the mortgage offer? Seems like people buying new builds are having lots of problems. I think I would be placing the blame on your solicitor over bluestonesSimmAli said:PLEASE DONT USE BLUESTONE I sold my house within a few weeks and paid a deposit on a new build. Oh my goodness that is madness, February! No wonder you are feeling frustrated. Did your broker use a packager? It says on their website now working on fully packaged cases from 28th April so it baffles me people are waiting on a decision still from February. Seems to unorganised. Why would they move on to new cases when people who applied so long ago still don't have answers. Very frustrating.Hangingon said:Totally frustrated.....
