Our packager is Brilliant Solutions who I haven't heard anyone on here mention before! Did you apply for the new HTB or the older one? Hopefully you/we hear back soon.Firsttimebuyers2021 said:
No not yet I haven't asked to be honest. Who is your MA and packagerCosy2020 said:
That's really helpful thanks. We've got a similar timeline to your although we've not had a hard search reported yet. We've been asked for a few more documents but aside from that everything has been okay. Our MA has said that they think we'll hear back before the end of the June at the absolute latest but seeing some other comments on here, I'm not so sure. Has your MA or packager given you any indications on when you could receive an offer?Firsttimebuyers2021 said:So this is my journey so far

So bluestone emailed today and have stated they will proceed with a five year fixed rate (I applied for two years fixed) and said this is due to affordability. They don’t need anything else. Does this look promising ?0

I don’t know how to quote two people at once but for those that asked... we instructed valuation 30th April. It was carried out via AVM this Tuesday with an instant update saying that it had been undervalued but that due to our high deposit we could continue with no change to our rate or deposit amount. Or we could instruct a physical valuation which would take 5-7 working days. We then got another update yesterday saying it had officially been passed onto the final stage. Less than 24 hours later (today), we had our written offer in pdf format with postal following.2

Hi all, It looks like we will be completing next week after all this time! Had to send 2 more payslips after we had our offer and show buildings insurance with bluestone as a interested party. Our hard search was done on the 23rd March right around when we had our offer so it looks like they do it at different times. Good luck to everyone on their journey3

Congratulations! How exciting! Was the buildings insurance a condition on your offer or did they ask for thar afterwards?lanainbloom said:Hi all, It looks like we will be completing next week after all this time! I wonder how many other people this happened to? Seems to me like I am just being stuck with a high interest rate for 3 years longer. My default drops off my credit file in two years so I could remortgage with high street lender but this five year fixed rate seems like bluestone are making sure they get their money out of me ha. At this point though I just want that offer ! My mortgage will be 100 a month more than my rent purely cos of the interest rate (8.59 eye watering ) but the house will be mine and I will remortgage in five years i guess 🙃Lishabee said:
