We just booked in a valuation to be done through connells as requested by bluestone, apparently it has to be physical so God knows when that can happen! Was hoping it would just be desktop. Been told potentially could lose the house on Friday as the builders for the couple we r buying from arent prepared to wait any longer! I don't blame them to be fair, 12 weeks this has taken.

Just jumping on after watching for the last few weeks.
Application 26/3 they’ve taken lots of documents over the last few weeks, last being 26/4 when they also took valuation fee.
Heard nothing since then and no idea if we’re even at underwriter yet 🤷‍♀️
I just had a look on their website and it says they are currently accessing fully packaged cases received on 23rd April and that underwriting is taking up to 11 working days.
Ours was sent over to the underwriters at Bluestone yesterday and we had our first question from them today.
We had the same, it gets looked at first to make sure everything is there before it goes into the queue for the underwriters. That’s what my MA said. Then we had 3 weeks silence. Then a request last week for something else
Our case manager said she expected to hear from them this week so maybe it’s different depending on the packager used? As we were with the pre-underwriters first.
Who knows everyone’s experience seems so different! I hope yours is quicker than ours! I just want to hear something now!

I know! Every case seems so different and the times vary so much. I’m back in a queue now with the new info 🤣

I hope yours moves quickly! Is so stressful.

Anyone know how long it’s taking for a case that’s been underwritten to go to valuation?

How strange that everyone pays different amounts, we paid £99 when first applied and then £350 valuation fee, not sure what if anything else we have to pay.
Also how do you find out your valuation has been done, Do they tell you?

Has it been done or was that how long it took for it to be booked in?

So the people we are buying the house from are buying a new build and their builders have given a deadline to them for Friday, which is not doable. We were hoping they extend cos they will pull the sale of they dont and we lose it :(
