We just booked in a valuation to be done through connells as requested by bluestone, apparently it has to be physical so God knows when that can happen! Was hoping it would just be desktop. Been told potentially could lose the house on Friday as the builders for the couple we r buying from arent prepared to wait any longer! I don't blame them to be fair, 12 weeks this has taken.

omg no 😩 I hope it’s quick for you. What has the builders got to do with it?
So the people we are buying the house from are buying a new build and their builders have given a deadline to them for Friday, which is not doable. We were hoping they extend cos they will pull the sale of they dont and we lose it :(
Oh god no after all you have been though to. I really hope they move it now your this close. Surely they can’t move either if you don’t buy there house thou xx

Surely not, they'd be stupid to do that. They'd then need to start the process of selling that house to someone else which will take time..Will keep my fingers crossed for you they dont.

We are in same situation as you and your seller. We are buying new build and our buyer is using bluestone. We’ve had to get an extension of missives since 31 March and the builders have been ok with it but starting to get a bit impatient now. When are they due to move into their house? We were told as long as the builders can see progress and kept upto date  they’ll be ok with extension.

Thanks everyone, they have been extending it since the start of April, this will be the 3rd extension! I'm praying now we are this close they will just wait or we all lose out. It would be silly to pull it and start the process all over again w new people. It really would be awful for everyone!

I highly doubt they will pull out to start process again as the builders would probably pull out then as the whole process would need to be started again! Good luck.

Could your MA speak to the builder to reassure them
of progress and that you’re on the last stretch? As it’ll be in their interest to settle everyone down otherwise they won’t be getting paid. I just wonder if they might listen to an MA more than buyers or sellers as they are one of the professionals involved. Good luck - I’m sure it’ll be fine, it makes no sense to pull now.

That's really helpful thanks. We've got a similar timeline to your although we've not had a hard search reported yet. We've been asked for a few more documents but aside from that everything has been okay. Our MA has said that they think we'll hear back before the end of the June at the absolute latest but seeing some other comments on here, I'm not so sure. Has your MA or packager given you any indications on when you could receive an offer?
