  • Hi all,

Been reading lots of threads about Bluestone and this seems to be the most up to date one.

Our buyer is using them and we accepted the offer on 19th January (!!) only had the valuation on 20th April and Mortgage Offer issued yesterday.

Can anyone tell me what the next steps are please? Looking to complete ASAP and getting very close to putting the house back on the market as this has gone on for months. I just don’t want to let my buyer down.

    TIA :)

Still kicking up a fuss about mother in laws proof of id which is crazy as last Tuesday they approved all docs just wanted a pension statement which I sent but they now won’t except that as it’s a private pension not a state pension but she doesn’t have state pension statements as it just goes straight into her bank every week 🤯. mA said last week when all was approved they wasn’t worried about it and they issued valuation anyways which was done and approved by the Thursday

Hey, I have been reading threads too. Our buyer is using them but we only accepted offer 29/3 I’m so worried it won’t be done on time as we need to conclude missives on our new house ASAP! Do you know why it took so long? If it took as long as yours we wouldn’t get our new house :(
  • Anyone had a success with Bluestone with an unsecured loan that may show as a payday or unsecured loan in the past 6 months? What if it shows on your credit report but not your bank statement?

    My nephew did.

His 160 quid payday loan (which he didn’t even need as the idi*t had a few thousand “saved” for his deposit) cost him a pretty penny in the extortionate rates that Bluestone charge! Not to mention the adverse broker fee.

As bluestones are a “adverse credit” mortgage company so it does take a while but i must admit they make you work for your mortgage we are nearly 3 months in and still having issues even having a valuation requested and passed and having the docs approved by underwriters
