Hi, new to this thread - thanks for all of your helpful posts so far.

Here’s our timeline so far: Our application went in on 08/04, hard search 09/04, passed to underwriter on 14/04, requested work reference 16/04 then a load more questions on 22/04. We are with simply adverse and are apparently relatively straightforward, applying for ‘clear’ - if that’s helpful for comparison.

Im wondering though if anyone has been asked for documents that just don’t exist? On Thursday, they asked us for a copy of my Carer’s allowance income that included my husbands earnings on - this is impossible as carers isn’t means tested other than that the recipient (me) needs to not be in full time work. So a document with someone else’s wages on isn’t available, I’m not sure where they’ve even got that from? We’ve said this but I can’t help but worry now, especially as our MA said we should have heard back yesterday! (I realise that’s an optimistic turn around).

Yes we have had the same.... they have pushed us for my mother in laws photo iD which she doesn’t have (no driving  licence or passport) as she’s 81! sent bus pass with her photo on, Wouldn’t expect it, asked for a bank card (she doesn’t have as she has a power of eternity    In charge of her estate) they did settle for a pension letter in the end but was a nightmare

Anyone using Brightstar? We have not been asked for anything for 3 weeks now, no hard search has been done. Feel like we are in an everlasting limbo 😣

I was with Brightstar, I was sending information over to them for about 3 weeks before they even sent the application to Bluestone. It was sent to Bluestone on 26th Feb and I got the offer on 14th April. Hope this helps!
