How long did it take from application to hearing anything (any type of update)?

Our application went in on the 9th March, came back and forth for about a week requesting more doc then nothing for almost 3 weeks, last weds (14th April) said it all went though with underwriters then was told at 4.30pm it hadn’t and they requested more docs. Finally found out Tuesday we had passed the underwriters and they gave us a verbal offer and requested valuation (which was paid yesterday) valuation approved today so just waiting on written offer. We are on week 9 this week..... it’s a long long stressful process

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news @Spenny01 but we were told on Tuesday that waiting time had increased to 14 working days.
