Should be with underwriters soon, then they have it foe 12 days or so then request what they need.sonervous86 said:we submitted the application with all the documents requested on the 1st april, so they have already had it for 10 days, will this be included in the 12 days? My MA implied that it could be any day that we hear from them0 -
We've had the hard search done yesterday on our credit files so they are doing something!
I suppose we're a little lucky they carried out the valuation at the beginning to save that step... lol1 -
Been watching this thread with interest. Our DIP was 24th Feb. Full application 9th March, hard search 19th March. We are only just at underwriting stage and had to submit a whole host of documents up to this point. We have taken a risk yesterday and instructed valuation as our seller is getting itchy feet. The wait is a killer.0

My annoyance is... when a hard search is carried out it affects your credit score!
If they have no intention of lending dont check it! lol0 -

The credit score we see is not the same as what any lender sees, it's the credit history eg bills paid on time, late payments, CCJs etc and your circumstances eg income etc the lenders see.
How can anyone know if they possibly want to lend you anything if they don't check you out, not everything shows up on a soft search.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

I know some people who are this thread that haven’t had a hard search at all. Think everyone is different1

We understand how frustrating that is, especially me. But the way to see it is they only do it if they are sure they want to borrow. Best of luck on your journey! If you need any help/support we're here. This is more of a support group now anywayj_d1988 said:My annoyance is... when a hard search is carried out it affects your credit score!
