Can anyone help? I was offered a DIP by bluestone but my deposit is completely gifted albeit relatively large sum. My bank statement are shocking the past few months as I've been spending a lot due to helping out my dad whilst sick, he's fine now but I'm considering renting for a few months to clear up my accounts before going through with a full mortgage due to the erratic spending not looking good. I'm also worried about my deposit being gifted any advice?0

They are being so awkward. MA is baffled tbh. Just hope they accept this cheque and matching bank statement. Everyone keep your fingers crossed.ill let you knowMovingForwards said:Kb21 said:
We have They already have 2 utility bills, 2 bank statements, bus pass etc don’t except any of it.MovingForwards said:Kb21 said:Our dip 24th feb, application 9th March, underwriters came back this week with a load more requests and now we may have to back out due to my mother in law having no photo id... she’s 81 never driven and her passport expired in 2015, they won’t expect her bus pas (which has a photo on) so we are well and truly stuck.
Explain this and ask them what they would accept as alternative ID. She will receive annual letters for her state pension and other pensions, plus bills, bank statements etc.
But have you asked what they will accept as your MIL doesn't have the standard ID they're asking for. That is something your broker should be finding out for you.2 -

I think that’s fine, it says in their product guide a close family member is defined as a parent, child, grandparent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, foster parent or legal guardian 😊.Clair1985lou said:

That will be fine. They will need to sign a giftors form and prove the moneys in a account and provide id, bank stantementClair1985lou said:
