Why is it causing problems? Our deposit is gifted by my mother in law.Kb21 said:
U can only have a gifted deposit by a family member . We have a large deposit being gifted by my mother in law and it’s causing lots of problems atmClair1985lou said:Can anyone help? I was offered a DIP by bluestone but my deposit is completely gifted albeit relatively large sum. My bank statement are shocking the past few months as I've been spending a lot due to helping out my dad whilst sick, he's fine now but I'm considering renting for a few months to clear up my accounts before going through with a full mortgage due to the erratic spending not looking good. I'm also worried about my deposit being gifted any advice?0 -
We had the underwriter query a couple of transactions on our bank statements this morning and we have responded already. Hoping it isn't now in another long queue. Has anyone had a quick valuation instruction at this stage? I am trying to remain optimistic, i should be a relatively easy case. 15% deposit from sale of house not self employed0

I instructed my valuation on the 9th April but bluestone have not been able to arrange it with the vendor so I am still waiting so if your vendor is on the ball then it should happen within the week

No valuation instructed yet, that's hopefully the next step and hopefully not long away. I understand that you are having difficulties due to verifying the source of your deposit and being self employed if i am following correctly. Neither of those complications apply to us and i am hoping that may make things slightly quicker.1

Fingers crossed for you that you get your valuation done soon, Once it was with the under writers did they ask any additional questions. If so how long did it take to get from there to instructing the valuation?lanainbloom said:
