Application 9th March hard search 9th April. Still with underwriters
  • Had my DIP on 18th March having originally been using a different broker and lender who hadn't fully grasped my full situation
    Application submitted on 23rd March
Asked for some additional docs last Monday, supplied to broker that night and uploaded next morning - bank statements for additional accounts, complete form on credit commitments, evidence of 2 years of payments for wife's DMP
I can see on experian I was hard searched on 8th April. Case is currently sat with underwriters.

House we've bought is a no chain purchase and I think seller is in a hurry which is my only concern.

Anything I should worry about? Seems like from this thread that if you've had the DIP you don't need to be concerned about being declined but it is slow? I guess because as a 'risky' lender they have to be able to evidence due diligence moreso than more straight forward lenders.

I've been told we should have an update later on today!

I just need to keep everything crossed... just ready for a long list of documents to send over!

Yeah from the underwriters... we had our valuation done right at the start, Bluestone instructed earl to speed up the process so we dont need to wait for that!

Just have to see what they say... I think they will ask for more docs...

  • That makes a few of us expecting updates today!
