Update today is they have all the documents they need but the decision won't be made by Friday. Application date was 26th Feb, not had a valuation done yet, offered to pay upfront but they said to wait until underwriting is complete. So we will prob lose the house. Was really hoping things would happen this week! Losing hope.0 -
We received our offer today -
D.I.P - 04.02.21
3 weeks sending different documents to my MA to send to our packager Brightstar
26.02.21 - Application sent to Bluestone
01.04.21 - Valuation instructed
14.04.21 - Offer (Verbal) - We will receive the offer documents in 24 hours.
I have been sending wage slips every week as I get paid weekly, Bank statements every time my savings came out and information if I ever transferred monies to anybody straight away.
Good Luck everyone!1 -

A bit off topic but looking for some advice. Our valuation is booked in for next week and we have a survey being done next week too. The estate agents seem confused and said it’s unusual to have both a valuation and a survey as anything major would be flagged up in the valuation? This is my first house buy and I thought we’d need both but I don’t want to waste money if it’s unnecessary!0

Valuation = value of property
Survey = condition of property
Did you not upgrade your valuation to a home buyers report or full survey?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
