Now my worries are taking over....help... so my MA spoke to bluestones today who confirmed the underwriters will have a update with our case tomorrow (hoping to them instruct a valuation) nothing seemed to concern my MA and said nothing was raised today when he phoned... what’s the chances they will request more docs tomorrow?
We submitted our application on 19/02/21 and have had bluestone come back 3 times now for more information. We had a hard search done on the 27/03 and a requested for my partner to sign a self employed declaration on 01/04 We have still not had a valuation done! They just seem really slow to look at anything
We haven’t been asked to sign a self employment declaration yet but I’m going to sign one and get it sent over I think. We haven’t had hard search done yet (or Experian haven’t updated it yet if they have) my MA actually spoke to bluestones today and they didn’t seem to have any concerns. We have submitted  so many docs since our application went in in the 9th March.
Yes defiantly best to get this done as I'm pretty confident the document will be required at some point! I am self employed and I have taken the mortgage out on my own. My MA got me to sign several forms at initial application stage including the self employed declaration form. If you look on the bluestone mortgages forms section, the self employment declaration is there also. A prime example of everybody's case being completely different though!...I wasn't asked for one additional form or even any further bank statements after 8 weeks of my application initially going in. I had some issues with other documents in which prolonged my application but just all have faith, Im pretty sure we will all be successful !
Defo it’s all signed and ready to be uploaded tomorrow so it’s ready for when they need it.
I have every confidence in bluestone and think everyone will get what they want eventually
  • Amen to that @Kb21. Once a document is or form filling is requested, the best approach is to hand it in almost immediately so you wont loose your place in the queue.

My application went in last month, I had my valuation done 10 days in application,  got my hard search done last month and nothing more has been requested than confirmation of a payment and SE declaration just shortly when we were told we should get feedback last week.

From my understanding, once hard search is done and they request for valuation (that's if you didnt request early valuation as I did), then it normally close to being offered once that gets done.

I am just sipping my tea and waiting for the offer to come thru, cant stress! Pls y'all dont stress.....remember MA choose bluestone because they are confident your type of case is what Bluestone specialises in....so wait for it!!!!🥰😊

Awww really hope u get it though soon.
I have it ready so when it’s requested it can go straight over. Fingers crossed I get the valuation request today I can have some relive then (we didn’t want a early one as we were unsure and my MA have never used bluestones b4) but we were told that if u Wait for your valuation request from them it’s a good sign as they are happy with all the documents and are happy to proceed. Got everything crossed for u.
I’ll keep u updated later. If u don’t hear from me I’m drunk in a quiet room 😂

@fesully84 when did your go in? I’ve heard nothing since Thursday.
Full application went in on feb 26th, actually just had an update today saying they need my partners bank statements again before it moves to underwriting - its meant to have been at that stage now for 5 weeks and we already sent them 90 days worth over. Back to square 1!
    Hello,

My application also went in on the 26th Feb, my valuation was instructed on 1st April. Do you have an update? I am still waiting at the moment.

    Hi everyone,
This thread as many others have said is managing to keep me sane (just about)
We put in our application beginning of February and have only just got to the valuation stage! We have paid for the valuation online as it requested, does anyone know how long it takes before someone contacts you with a date and time for the valuation to be done?
    Thanks

Hi, we’re at the same stage as you. We asked our MA and he said to check with the estate agents to see if and when it had been booked for. We only paid last Thursday though and the estate agents said they hadn’t heard anything yesterday. I don’t know if there’s another way of knowing though?

We paid Friday so you are a day in front of us 😊
The waiting to find out information is so hard to deal with isn't it!
I have no idea how else I could find out! Hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

Hi everyone. I think I have read every single post on this thread! It’s giving me hope!
Our application was sent to bluestone on Friday via our packager (complete) and we were asked to pay valuation fee then.
Has anyone else used complete packaging? Is paying the valuation fee normal? Just noticing that most seem to pay for valuation once app has been reviewed by Bluestone
    thanks

I am using Brightstar as the packager, I had to pay them upfront for my valuation (February) My valuation was only instructed on 1st April. Good Luck!
