Amazing! Congratulations!Fountains_27 said:Just as I said earlier this morning... "would keep sipping my tea and waiting for my offer to come out, cant be stressed"....
I guess it happened just so..... My offer just came out. So excited and thanks everyone here for your support.
Wait for it, yours will come soon too!!!
Timeline:
Application 14/03
Valuation: 29/03
Hard search: 30/03
Offer: 13/04.
One month timescale.Did they come back with any questions after you had submitted your documents?1 -
@j_d1988 I know I've been so stressed just over a bloody DiP! haha! I've just chased our MA for an update on HTB as I've just realised we submitted it 30th March!
We've gone with the recommended solicitors with our builders as well so fingers crossed it all goes through okay. Due to complete between sept - oct, how about you?
Did you have a pretty 'easy' straight forward case? I'm just thinking about what we'll need to supply etc but aside from some old defaults and missed payments I can't think of any other issues we'd need to explain.0 -
Bluestones failed to do our underwriting today.. they are apparently really really busy. They said we should defo have a decision tomorrow...0

Hi, we have had an agreement in principle from Bluestone Mortgages for a 75% LTV. My partner who is a joint applicant has had bad credit rating in the past with lots of missed credit card payments. The card was cleared in October fully however he uses his overdraft a lot and I go in to mine each month sometimes. What is the likelihood of us actually getting an offer? I’m really panicking that we won’t get an offer and will have to pull out of our sale and purchase because we can’t get a mortgage!! My anxiety is absolutely awful at the min.Our broker thinks we should be fine but we haven’t sent her all of the docs for the application yet just collating them.0

Your best bet is to just be honest. Bluestones don’t love the idea of overdrafts but doesn’t mean it’s a no. They are specialists in what they do. Trust in your broker. Everyone’s cases is handled differently. Just be aware they are running slowly atm so if you don’t hear anything don’t worryJLW_25 said:Hi, we have had an agreement in principle from Bluestone Mortgages for a 75% LTV. Deadline for us with the house is Friday. Been chasing my broker to chase bluestone.
Update today is they have all the documents they need but the decision won't be made by Friday. Application date was 26th Feb, not had a valuation done yet, offered to pay upfront but they said to wait until underwriting is complete. So we will prob lose the house. Was really hoping things would happen this week! Losing hope.0 -
Ohhh no 😩. We were told our underwriters would be finished today but apparently they are really busy so they have told us it will be tomorrow now. Can they not extend your deadline? Is it a new build?Fesully84 said:Deadline for us with the house is Friday. Been chasing my broker to chase bluestone.

Its the People selling the house to us who are buying a new build, its their deadline so if their house falls thru so does ours unfortunately. Really frustrating!Kb21 said:

Hes tried, they won't escalate it, they said it'll take as long as it takes. I dont even know, we still need a mortgage cos we need to find another house so hoping we wouldn't need to start the process all over again! The kicker is im 33 weeks pregnant so we don't have the time!Kb21 said:
