Was your old HTB application extended or renewed? Our new house should be ready 14th March but been put back to 26th March. We are booked in on 19th March to view the inside our new home.Scatlow said:

We had our valuation on 14.01.2021, we’re still at the final review. Our MA told us last week BrightStar said Bluestone’s timescales have slightly increased. We buying with HTB (application successful), our solicitor done all the paper. Now waiting for🤞🏾🤞🏾....offer 😩Has anyone waited that long after valuation (6 weeks or more) before ??? Our nerves ...are shattered ...
Valuation 05/01
Been at final underwrite since 27/01 😔
Waiting on atp to be amended then hopefully that's everything bluestone need.
House is ready to move into on the 19/03 can't do anything else until we have a mortgage offer
Don’t know what more bluestone will want to back to us to ask for more information0 -

Old htb needs extending if we don't exchange by the 17th. Bluestone wanted reference from my job Sainsbury’s is not like most we have a centralised hr dept who can't really see much other than store location and job role. So I have had my line manager respond today. I believe bluestone are due to pick it up tomorrow. Builders are starting to ask what the hold up is hoping the don't pull it from us.citylife said:

@citylife stay positive, this is week 5 for us and we were told on Wednesday the valuation has been instructed and we paid the fee. It’s so nerve wracking but we keep trying to stay positive 🏡0

Today we received or verbal offer 😁😁🥳🥳🥳 it's been a long 14 weeks from application to today's news. Reading everyone else's posts I'm guessing we will have more hurdles to jump just glad to finally have our offer

hi
we are in the finally stages of it or so I believe. After 4 months wait getting our offer approved. We are now waiting for them to check our findings on the house from our solicitor.. we’re waiting to agree on a move in date but our solicitor hasn’t heard back from bluestones after contacting them 8 times over the last 10 days.. our offer runs out in 7 weeks and bluestones need to approve solicitors findings and then after that send her the money.. has anyone else got to this point? And has had experience of how long this takes. Just worried as it was 4 months to approve our application.. and we can’t cope with doing the application all over again and then losing the house. Can anyone advise? Really stressing

Hi everyone been following posts here about bluestone, I had my application submitted on the 15th/Jan, they have been going back and forth asking for more documents, now they are insisting I produce evidence of rent pays for May & December 2019, because it wasn’t on my rent statement I provided, my MA has already told them I paid cash as I used to pay by a rent card then, I haven’t heard from them for two days and am sooo worried I can barely sleep because I have been declined before. Also am now getting paid weekly from monthly as of from mid last month. Is anyone here going through the same experience, am soo anxious 😢0

We finally completed yesterday and I've just spent the 1st night in our new home. It has not been an easy process and Bluestone are insufferable with how slow they can be.
We only exchanged the day before completion because they kept requesting the same documents from our solicitor to satisfy the conditions of the mortgage. They had been sent them 3 times since 1st March. Even our MA contacted them.
Because of this our solicitor would not exchange as she had never used Bluestone before and didn't want us legally bound if they didn't transfer the funds in time.
Been on the edge of my seat all week ... but exchanged Thursday and completed Friday.
I tried to ring them myself but they will only speak to MA'S and solicitors.
Stick with it everyone and good luck 👍4
