  • @Samfaye01 great news! It’s all starting to feel real again and not silent! Our MA just told us the valuation has been instructed so hopefully the estate agents have a date for us this week!

Hi guys wondering if anyone can answer my questions.
    - Has anyone had conditions to pay off car finance with their offer?
    - When giftors (parents etc) get their independent legal advice, are they made aware of your conditions I.e that you must pay off a credit card or car finance?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

My parents weren't made aware of the other special conditions of the offer, other than by me.
We don't have any car finance but had to pay off all our outstanding debts.

We got our mortgage offer on the 26th Feb, and that's all so far that's happened, yet again it feels like we are not getting anywhere! We are currently waiting for help to buy to issue ATE, solicitor sent in all documents over a week ago, then she had to send in another which she did on Monday, then she informed us she is now on maternity leave without passing on details who is taking over our case 😕 we've called them and said they would call us back yesterday, which they haven't! We've signed and sent in contracts.

Still waiting to hear from bluestone if documents sent in for proof of paying off the conditions are sufficient enough!  Thought after we would of got our offer things would be straight forward but yet again more stress and waiting! Doesn't help the fact we have 3 weeks until we have to leave our rented property ahh!

Hello, if you don't mind me asking what was your conditions to pay off? Was this just credit card ect? I have car insurance but I didn't think that was a credit commitment as it is a direct debit? I hope all goes well for you! Thank you

Ahh thank you :), I hope you get everything you need, I just want the offer but I know that's only the beginning. My application only actually went to them on the 26th Feb but I have had an updated saying 'application has progressed to underwriting' on Tuesday. Also had the Hard Credit search done on Tuesday too. Just hope all goes well. My fingers will be crossed for you!

I was shocked that I didn't get asked for anything back from the assessment but I've been sending all my wage slips and updated statements every time something come out (My MA probably thinks I'm crazy) It only showed up on my Experian today but it was from the 9th. Please keep me updated with yours as we was around the same week. X
