Still waiting on an update, MA told us today Bluestone have received valuation report so hoping it’s good news as we went for home report value. The waiting game continues now into week 6!
Week 6 for us now, MB is chasing them up this week see what stage we are up to. Keep us updated. Valuation instructed my us and was today.
  • @Samfaye01 I will do, I always check for your comments! The week 6 team 🤣 ours was instructed by Bluestone on Wednesday last week, I really am getting worried about the “conditions” part. We both have one credit card each and I got a new car in January but MA advised shouldn’t be an issue as payment was settled on last car lease and I was due for another car 😟

We finally completed yesterday and I've just spent the 1st night in our new home. It has not been an easy process and Bluestone are insufferable with how slow they can be.
We only exchanged the day before completion because they kept requesting the same documents from our solicitor to satisfy the conditions of the mortgage. They had been sent them 3 times since 1st March. Even our MA contacted them.
Because of this our solicitor would not exchange as she had never used Bluestone before and didn't want us legally bound if they didn't transfer the funds in time.
Been on the edge of my seat all week ... but exchanged Thursday and completed Friday.
I tried to ring them myself but they will only speak to MA'S and solicitors.
Stick with it everyone and good luck 👍
Oh my! We got our offer on the 26th Feb, we had conditions on ours to pay off 2 credit cards and ikano loan, we've sent in proof that we have done this, our solicitor has passed over  over a week ago now, there still waiting to hear back from bluestone before we can exchange contracts, everything is ready to go, our MA and solicitor has now chased bluestone yesterday so hoping to hear something next week, we desperately need a completion date as we have to be out of our rental property before the end of the month 🙈 also one of the conditions was to send over payslips that's dated within 30 days of funds being released.. Now do we send them in before or wait until we have completed? So confused with this. Don't want it to hold things up even more?
    Many thanks.
Re the payslip issue - they will ask to see a payslip that is dated within the last 30 days. So for example if you were due to complete on 1st April they would need to see your March payslip. The bit to be careful about on this is if you have any furlough income shown as they were not including that as income when we when through the process at end of December.
Okay, thank you, Iv just sent in 5 weeks worth of hubby's pay slips as he gets paid weekly and sent in my Feb payslip as I get paid 27th each month, hoping to complete before the 1st otherwise we will be homeless 🙈

Let me join that team 🤣
valuation done last week been 7 days since our last information went it fingers crossed 🤞
  • We are now 7 weeks post offer and still going back and forth about the special conditions, we are due to complete tomorrow. The issue is every time they review the documents they decide they aren't happy with one they were previously happy with. Our MA has said he won't go through them again. We have now submitted at least 4 copies of everything, but each underwriter wants it in a special format.

If you have to pay off debts make sure you can get up to date monthly statements still, or copies of closed settlements with all the details, we've had problems because my name is on a different page to the balance. We've also had an issue because credit cards don't issue statements for nil balances.

We’ve been told we’re “in the queue for formal underwrite” and that Bluestone aren’t taking any escalations. We’re being because our packager didn’t upload all of our documents even though we sent them numerous times. I’m SO angry.

Is your packager Brightstar? Mine went to underwrite last week, just hope they don't want anything else as I have sent them everything! Its very stressful as it adds 8 more days until you get a response! Have you had your valuation?

Yep Brightstar. We’ve had our valuation because I asked for it early (non-refundable) and it was all good. The problem is it’ll be 8 working days until I hear and then if they have queries it’ll be another 8 working days so that’s already 6th April :(

Ahh I haven't asked for mine yet, My full application went in on the 26th Feb then was progressed to underwriters last Tuesday but not had valuation yet, I will be asking for it this week as the seller has been waiting. Aww I hope you get everything you need, it's awful the waiting round but you will get there in the end! As far as I know it goes DIP, then assessment, underwriters, valuation, back to underwriters and then offer? That is if they have all the paperwork as that's what causes the waiting times. Hopefully you get something back asap. Please keep me updated. X

Yeah deffo ask for your valuation to be done to keep sellers happy :)
Thank you. I’m hoping as we’ve done valuation and they had that on 1st March they just do one big underwrite. I guess it’ll be any questions on affordability we will need to answer as my Nanna has given me some money (not to do with the house) that we will have to answer I assume!
good luck with yours too :)
