I've been monitoring mine for a while now.
I have 8 batteries in 2 sets of 4, side by side with 2 lux inverters in a cupboard less than a meter square.
Sometimes that cupboard is 30c+ but still batteries are cool to the touch, and that's them being charged at 3.6kw each set (been really sunny but cold a few mornings in the last week)
Also had mine updated to ofof today, so we shall see what difference it makes to the lack of parallel operation (I'd imagine, none)
I would give some kind of insulation a try Mick. You can always do away with it when the weather gets warmer. I'm almost certain you'll see an improvement in power output.
You could keep an eye on the temperature with one of these

The outside temp of the casing seems much the same as the internal temp from what I've seen.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go1 -

Lets see if this help with this importing of around 50w throughout the day.5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017

The only differences i see with ofof is the amp hours of the batteries appear, (and on the display too) so mine are both showing 200ah with 4 batteries connected, also you have a reading for soh, state of health.
I'm assuming this takes some time to settle in, as the figures yesterday didn't make much sense, saying 1 battery was 73% and one 43%, both are 18 month old batteries that haven't been abused. The soc was 100% on both inverters at this time (though the batteries didn't agree, they were saying 85% ish and 60% is (based on the battery lights)West central Scotland

If you mean soc then I see it on main monitor page, if you mean soh then its on configuration/ inverters.
If you are asking about the batteries, rather than lux, I read their charge from the lights as I mentionedWest central Scotland

As far as I'm aware, the only way to check that is with the Batteryview app and a serial cable connected to the console port on the master batt.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go1 -

so I've found out something interesting today, apparently if you have a pylon made either dec2017 or jul2018, it has to be the master to solve the issue of the lux reading 100% when the batteries lights show they are only 60%.
Rearranged my batteries today for that very reason and now the soh on both is 100%.
Just something you may hit on if picking up 2nd hand batteries and adding them into your stack.West central Scotland

Canhao came through again today with another firmware update.
This is to hopefully encourage the two individual lux to act in parallel.
I would doubt you guys will get this update, and it may not work, but its definitely PROGRESS, which is a big improvement over the uk distributer.West central Scotland

Long story short, it took about 2 weeks of constant cycling to get it in sync with my other 2 Pylons, both 2019.
I was told by Pylontech to make one of the newer batteries the master. Not sure if that made the difference or not but it was a good 2 weeks before the 2nd hand one began behaving itself.
It's now working perfectly alongside the other 2 newer ones.
If it hadn't been for the Batteryview app and great support from Pylontech who were amazingly quick to reply to emails, I would have sent it back thinking it was faulty.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0
