Quick query guys - what should be the max charge rate? It's based on no of batteries but i can't find the posts :(
With my current 2 batteries it appears to be topping out at 2.5kw - does that sound right?
Spot on, same as mine with 2 Pylons. It's 1.2kw per battery.
You'll get the full 3.6kw once you add your 3rd Pylon.
What about 'discharge' rate? I'm a bit puzzled about this one - there's a "System Discharge Power Rate(%)" setting in the lux maintain option which suggests that my rated discharge power is 3000w - does that mean 1500w discharge per battery, but capped at 3600? What's strange is if I set this to 50% my actual discharge rate goes to 2000w which doesn't really calculate :)

BUT the moment I try anything in crontab

Probably need to set your PATH correctly in your script.  Cron doesn't execute a profile file by default.

Got this one working :) i had conflicting ruby versions....

Cant answer your questions sorry, still getting familiar with this system.
Fyi just got software update to
    BAAA-0C0C
    3

Hoping it helps with parallel working.

Does anyone know where the cycle count is?

Also what do the numbers on display mean, randomly getting 1, 16 and 32 appearing bottom middle, but still with happy face, so doesnt appear to be a fault

I think latest firmware is BAAa-OFOF (just got upgraded today). it's already made a difference in accuracy of when to discharge - previously it was 'leaking' 50 watts non-stop when I wanted 100% grid (as electricity was cheap), which left me less to cover when electricity gets expensive at peak.

I haven't found cycle count - similar question from me. If you go to data - history there is a 'cyclecnt' field but mine shows 0 throughout.

The numbers you're seeing are explained on page 28 of the manual 'working / warning / fault code explanation.' 1 means 'Fault' 16 is 'battery discharge' and 32 is 'AC charge'.

My cyclecnt is at 0 for both.
One likely will be zero, but the other should be 200+, so something else the software isnt picking up.

Strange that you are on a different version of firmware, when we are both updated today.
    Clearly yours is newer.

Apologies, ignore my post about firmware update, i was confusing myself between the display on the lux which is SOFH:BAAA and thinking the OCOC was an upgrade, its clearly not.
Id sent Mick at think renewables a message, then 30 mins later it was having connection issues.... i assumed this was them getting an update. Never assume eh!!

Thanks for the manual page direction, i was looking at page 29 but noting they are all :disappointed: rather than  knew that couldnt be right.

Interesting that im seeing 32 quite often, as im not AC charging, only solar charging.

When i was using 1 lux and 8 batteries i was pretty happy about it all, but installing the second lux and deviding the batteries to 4 and 4 has been disappointing, as they are charging and discharging on their own, rather than together and ending up with totally different SOH

wow, that's quite the set up :) doesn't sound like they're working very well in tandem...

How are you guys doing with grid import accuracy? even if i'm meant to be 100% on battery, i still seem to be pulling 40-60 watts consistently from grid. is there no 'adjuster' here? the clamp is on fine - just it's readings are always just so slightly off but enough to cause an import. i'm trying to get rid of the grid!

    Strange.
Mine got updated to BAAA-0E0E and I haven't seen any of that since.
Just the usual bit of import when the ketttle, oven or shower was on.

Just added a 3rd Pylon so shouldn't see that either now.

How did you verify your 3rd pylon 'connected' ok?
I've just plugged in my third. under config - inverters i see batparallelnum = 3, but weirdly my SOC is still at 73% which is exactly what it was before I plugged in the 3rd?

I have green lights on all 3 indicating they're all discharging and capacity is now at 150ah.
Your SOC won't change if all 3 batts were at 73% but your capacity will, of course.
Did you balance them before powering up the Lux ?

Yep I see 150,all looks OK!
I didn't balance them though - would they all get to 100% overnight? Or do I need to balance?
