Yeah under about 400w of charge or discharge both of mine buzz, above it they are quiet, idle they are quiet.

Still no update for mine, getting rather disappointed.
Noticed that after about 50% charge going by battery lights, the lux tell me they are 100% charged... hmm.

Also when i set them to 90% discharge, it sets the controlling battery to error (red light on) so ive set them both to 85%.

Really tempted to go back to the sofar at this stage, at least i could believe what it was telling me.
What version of Pylons do you have Solar ?
I've had some bother with a US2000B I bought recently. It doesn't like going above 80% discharge which I suppose is why they're rated at 80%.
It was showing 0% on Batteryview one morning while the US2000 Plus modules were at 50%. Seems the BMS got out of whack when it went above 80%.
US2000 Plus modules should go to 90% no problem.

Mine are all the plus model, except the newest one as the new ones have dropped the plus.

Which one do you have set as the master ?
Might be worth switching them round if you haven't already tried that so that the newest one is the master or vice versa.

Still find this irritating.. my batteries will only take 2.2 kw charge so if the solar goes above this it sends the excess to the grid.  Not usually much of an issue but today has been a very patchy day so at the moment I have a battery SOC at 53% but have exported 1.1 kW to the grid which is about 10 % of my generation for today.  You can see from the graph below the charge rate bottoming out.  I have been told its because my batteries are in the garage so "cold"

The cold theory is probably about right Mick.
Outside temps are still fairly cool at the moment. I've seen a slight improvement in my EV's range in the past couple of weeks but still a good bit short of what it was last summer.
Is there any way you could insulate your batteries ? Maybe some water tank lagging or similar ??

Yes I could lag them with something.. probably find they then overheat LOL
They do not seem to generate any heat as in they are cold to the touch...
I wonder what happens if I turn off "export to grid".. how does the inverter get rid of the excess power?

    Just had my firmware upgraded
    • from: BAAA-0B0A
    • to: BAAa-0F0F
Lets see if this help with this importing of around 50w throughout the day.

I guarantee you they won't overheat.
I've been monitoring mine for a while now.
I have 8 batteries in 2 sets of 4, side by side with 2 lux inverters in a cupboard less than a meter square.
Sometimes that cupboard is 30c+ but still batteries are cool to the touch,  and that's them being charged at 3.6kw each set (been really sunny but cold a few mornings in the last week)

Also had mine updated to ofof today, so we shall see what difference it makes to the lack of parallel operation (I'd imagine, none)

Should definitely sort it. Mine did as soon as they updated it.
Any idea what other features/fixes this version provides ?
