  • @chainreaction not sure how long its been happening, the SOC above is set to 100% and if I try to alter this one I get error 03 and nothing changes.

    3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch (£3.36 /W).
    17 Yingli 235 panels
    Sunnyboy 4000TL inverter
    Sunny Webox
Solar Immersion installed May 2013, after two Solar Immersion lasting just over the guarantee period replaced with Solic 200... no problems since.

13 Feb 2020 LUX AC 3600 and 3 X Pylon Tech 3.5 kW batteries added...

20 January 2024 Daikin ASHP installed
  • Anyone have an idea why the inverter is not using the batteries when there is this low demand overnight.  As you can see there is power being drawn from the grid even though the SOC on the batteries is in the high 90s %
    TIA
Can you post your account charge and priority charge settings
    Of course here you go

Ok the question was because the screenshot showed the value at 0%, which seemed strange but I don't know what it does as it's not on the ACS inverter. Do you have a value in the CT offset?
6kwp solar (23x265w sharp) south facing, Solaredge 6kw inverter installed Dec 2016. 2xLux 3.6kw ACS paralleled with 10x Easyway UNIV5200's 5.2kWh- installed March 2025. 1xLux 3.6kw hybrid with 3.15kwp solar south/south-west with 5x Easyway UNIV5200's installed March 2025. I-Pace 90kwh, MG ZS 44.5kwh, EO Mini Pro 2 home charger (solar charging enabled), E.on drive tariff.
  • @chainreaction, no idea what the CT offset is so Im guessing not

@chainreaction, no idea what the CT offset is so Im guessing not
The CT Power Offset, to give it its full description, changes the value of power your inverter sees. So if you constantly export say 50w, you can reduce the amount of constant export (as measured by your smart meter/in home display) by applying a -40w "offset". If you constantly import and want to export then you use a +ve value. The value is changed via the web portal under the first maintenance heading "Application".

It is set to "0"... everytime I change it says OK but then still "0" when I check again.  OH well thanks anyway

Ok I don't understand why it won't change. I would email info@luxpowertek.com and ask them why you can't change the value and why your inverter is not supporting the 200w consumption when it should. Give them your serial number.

@philologus I'll PM them to you later today (one or the other) if I am able.
Doubt if I have an email address all done via fleabay from memory.

  • Anyone tried using the different settings for the System charge pwer rate and the Grid charge power rate.

For me setting grid charge power rate to 50% also appears to limit system charge power rate too to 50% even though i have system charge to 100%.

Think altering either seems to change both because I think I've done it the opposite way to you with same results.
