The available Ah of the batteries comes from the battery bms, not the inverters, however it's purely an indicator for your comfort level and doest affect the capacity the lux will charge or discharge to.
I have 2x 280ah seplos kits and you can set the dip switches on second unit to tell the inverter the available Ah, so I've set it to 200Ah.
However I also have 2 x305Ah kits and didn't set the dip switches (cos there are none, I'm sharing the bms) so its only showing as 100Ah, and it charges and discharges a bit more than the 280Ah kit, not voltage, but in kwh.
So the indicated Ah doesnt matter, the bms in the batteries tells the lux what level of voltage and current it will take.West central Scotland

I was advised to run a cable to a mini breaker board and then from there to a twin socket.Did you just connect the EPS socket to a three pin socket without going through a breaker?0

A further update on my new Eway Energy UNIV 5200 5.22kwh batteries, 51.2v (they do a 48v version aswell). I've had a number of cycles down to 20% and back up to 100% and they are working extremely well. When sat at either 20% or 100% I can't see any loss of SOC, unlike my previous uhomes. They claim a standard 90% DoD, so I'll be running a test in the next few days to see how they operate down at 10% and a test to 5% aswell.
I've asked a couple of questions to their technical people and get an almost immediate response, so the tech WhatsApp group they have set up for me, is working very very well.
Costings were 490USD for the 102Ah, 5.22kwh battery, which includes the stacking brackets and all cabling, then an approx 28% extra on top to cover import vat, import duty, packing, shipping, customs clearance and final delivery to your door (total for 1 battery to your door £480 for 5.22kwh). Took about 8 weeks from purchase (50% bank transfer, 50% credit card) to receiving them at my place. I've attached a datasheet for info.6kwp solar (23x265w sharp) south facing, Solaredge 6kw inverter installed Dec 2016. 2xLux 3.6kw ACS paralleled with 10x Easyway UNIV5200's 5.2kWh- installed March 2025. 1xLux 3.6kw hybrid with 3.15kwp solar south/south-west with 5x Easyway UNIV5200's installed March 2025. Can someone point me in the direction where I can purchase a replacement wifi dongle for a lxp3600

They only have Bluetooth to see all the data on the BMS, there is a lot of information available. They use octopus BMS. So far I've had problem free operation. I've also suggested a couple of changes to the wording of some of their alarms etc on the BMS. Eg as the battery gets to full charge they generate voltage high and over voltage protection trip (nothing is visible on the front of the battery just info in BMS), this apparently is normal behaviour and the over voltage trip is basically the battery at 100%. So I've said to them over voltages trips seem like a bad thing so call them battery approaching full charge and battery fully charged. They said they will discuss with BMS software people. Tech response has been very good so far to any questions I've asked. If you are interested PM on here and we can chat further. Help!My app showed a red battery so I checked the inverter and it says "Bat Com Fault".I have a Lux 3.6 inverter and I have 6x 2.4 Pylontech batteries. The master battery had the red light on and the inverter had the orange warning light on.I checked all the cables and they were on tight so I replaced the Comms cable to the inverter with a new one (blue) and made sure I connected it the right way round. I restarted the system and there was no improvement.I have a new - still in box- battery so I turned everything off and disconnected the batteries from the inverter and then connected the new battery on its own. Turned it all on again and told the inverter what battery I'd connected but the fault is still there on the inverter screen and the orange warning light is still on - but the battery is not showing a red light now. The battery is showing three solid green and one flashing green.Any suggestions please?Edited to add that I used the new battery to battery com connector and worked my way though all the system switching the new one for the old one but it made no difference.George0

I'd say that it sounds like an Inverter fault, but I know that changing the battery configuration does seem to wrong-foot the inverter until it gets used to the idea. Some batteries are prone to not like being the master, so getting it working with a single battery would seem to be the priority, then when you've got it working, extend it by adding them one-by-one.Oddly, my inverter was showing red in the app a couple of days ago - I'd never seen that before. No record in the error log and it disappeared when I tried to investigate, so maybe there is an issue with the app, but if you've got error indications on the front of the inverter and batteries then it can't be the app.4kWp, Panels: 16 Hyundai HIS250MG, Inverter: SMA Sunny Boy 4000TLLocation: Bedford, Roof: South East facing, 20 degree pitch20kWh Pylontech US5000 batteries, Lux AC inverter,Skoda Enyaq iV80, TADO Central Heating control1
