Hi thought I'd keep you posted with a purchase made for new batteries. I bought beginning of July 12x5.22kwh rack batteries from a company called Easyway Energy (trading name for Eway Energy), they are based in Wuhan! They build the uhome 2400lfp and badge them Aoboet.
Cost was approx £6,500 for them Inc sea transport, customs clearance, import taxes and onwards UK delivery. Well they arrived today. At 43kg each they take a bit of shifting. Included are the rack mounting brackets to allow stacking aswell as all cabling etc.
I'll update on progress of getting them hooked up to my ACS 3600 inverter, well 4 of them to start, then it's adding two more inverters to cope with a heat pump when it gets fitted......6kwp solar (23x265w sharp) south facing, Solaredge 6kw inverter installed Dec 2016. 2xLux 3.6kw ACS paralleled with 10x Easyway UNIV5200's 5.2kWh- installed March 2025. 1xLux 3.6kw hybrid with 3.15kwp solar south/south-west with 5x Easyway UNIV5200's installed March 2025. Good luck, 60+kwh of storage, I like it.
It's definitely reduced my day to day app checking and adjusting.
Though I must admit I would have probably went with 4 x fogstar 15.2s at £6k.
Though I paid £8k 9 months ago, so the price dive stings a bitWest central Scotland

I've decided to utilise the EPS on my LUX inverter. If anyone else has done this I'd appreciate knowing what you bought (and where from) to to do the job please. My intention is to wire the plug up to a mini breaker board and then to a switched twin socket that will fasten to the wall 30" from the inverter. From there I'll use a heavy duty switched 4 gang 10 metre reel with thermal cutout to take the power to whever I need it in the house.I know it's 16amp and a max of 3.6Kw so it will run a few lights and a fridge and a freezer. It would also power a 800w microwave.0

An update on my 12 x Eway Energy UNIV 5200 batteries.
The battery to inverter power cables and network cables were the wrong ones, so the company sent the correct ones, which arrived today. I've put 4 of them online today.
I had to file down slightly the width of the inverter end lug of the battery to inverter power cable, to make it fit into the connection enclosure underneath the inverter. I'm using screw terminals not amphenol so couldn't reuse my uhome cables.
They sent "homemade" pylontech battery to inverter Comms cables, I've given them feedback on this.
Selecting the new battery type (2 for pylon Comms) was a bit tortuous until you know the inverter screen interface key strokes. Currently the online monitoring shows 4 batteries with capacity 200 Ah, I've contacted lux to ask them if I've made a wrong selection or if they can change to 400 Ah.
Ill need a few days to get them balanced and hopefully to their full potential. They have 95% DoD. A quick force discharge shows them delivering just under 3100w, uhomes could only discharge max 2965w. I've attached a pic of the set up, work in progress. Waiting for 2 more squirrel pods to be fitted.

So part of playing around setting the new batteries up, I was wondering why I was getting higher forced discharge with the new batteries, answer greater voltage on the new batteries. Then I remembered there is a setting at the bottom of the discharge section of the app, called discharge current limit. This was set to 60a, or 3000w ish. I've upped it to 72a and now I get 3640w forced discharge. Every day is a learning opportunity!!6kwp solar (23x265w sharp) south facing, Solaredge 6kw inverter installed Dec 2016. 2xLux 3.6kw ACS paralleled with 10x Easyway UNIV5200's 5.2kWh- installed March 2025. 1xLux 3.6kw hybrid with 3.15kwp solar south/south-west with 5x Easyway UNIV5200's installed March 2025. The only extra added was suitable earthing arrangements for this circuit as it's lost when you go onto EPS.6kwp solar (23x265w sharp) south facing, Solaredge 6kw inverter installed Dec 2016. 2xLux 3.6kw ACS paralleled with 10x Easyway UNIV5200's 5.2kWh- installed March 2025. 1xLux 3.6kw hybrid with 3.15kwp solar south/south-west with 5x Easyway UNIV5200's installed March 2025. Now that I have the Lux, I'm feeding its EPS output to another 13A socket and transferred the old UPS plugs into that. Not sure whether to be pleased or sorry but I've not had any proper power cuts to test the system although there have been a few 'temporary disconnections' that left the oven clock flashing away but didn't shut down my PC.
The Lux came with an unused EPS output plug (it might be difficult to find that if not already available !) and the extra 13A socket probably came from Screwfix.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50
