I contacted Infinity by email late last night and got a reply first thing this morning. Good service! They suggested an ARC fault and asked me to isolate and then check all the cables. I did that and found no issues - no loose fittings, no discolouration or moisture on cables etc.In doing this I removed the power cables and had a good look at them for pitting etc - but there were no problems so I refitted them and turned everything back on. The Batt Com Fault was still there and the orange light on the inverter was still glowing. They then asked for the serial numbers of my batteries. It needed the use of a mirror but I got them - all six. In the meantime I checked the app and I'm up and running again. Woo Hoo! Good service from Infinity.I'll wait a couple of days to make sure all is well and then I'll install the two new batteries.0

me and my big gob! The good news only lasted half an hour and the orange light on the inverter came back on. I'll work my way through the batteries to see if I can figure out which one, if any, is causing the problem. I think I need some new inverter to battery cables.

It really needs Lux to connect to the inverter and tell you what it is reporting.

Anyone interested in 4 X uhome 2400 (new style battery terminals) I'm really happy with the new univ5200 ones I have. I have small to big battery cables aswell to allow these to be used with older style larger battery connection. If you are interested PM me.
Also I'm putting an order with chamelion on here for a number of the Easyway Energy UNIV 5200 batteries I've highlighted on this forum, so if you are interested PM me.

I diconnected everything (again) and then added the two new batteries and their new cables and connected just those two to the inverter and all seems well. The batteries are charging from the panels and there's no feed from the grid. After an hour to make sure that nothing changes, I'll swap the comms link cable between the batteries for one of the old ones to see if it's just a faulty link cable. Fingers crossed.0

All the link cables worked OK so I added a battery and the Warning light on the inverter came on.. I reverted to having just the two new ones connected. Warning light still on. The orange power cable didn't fit tightly onto the battery so I replaced it with a new one. Still an orange light so I have shut down for the night. Infinity don't have Pylontechs now, They gave me Pylontechs contact details so I'll send Pylontech an email tonight. This has become very time-consuming.0

I checked that all the dips are as they should be. Thanks for the suggestion.Plenty of volts out of the old, and not so old batteries. One is 5 years old, three are 3, 2 are 1.It's strange that the new pair of batteries with new cables are still bringing up the Warning light on the inverter.Infinity said their check showed an ARC issue. I can't see any evidence of this but changed the orange power cable as it didn't fit tightly on the battery.0

I added some Pylons recently and had some similar ( though not really aptly the same ) issues around the battery warning light and things not playing together happily whilst charging.I purchased the control software and cables and that did not really show up any problems.Having remembered comments by Solarchaser regarding balancing I charged all batteries to full independently and then connected up ensuring the master battery was the most recent version ( there us now a mix of batteries storage energy, ages and versions ) reconnected all together and to the Lux and after a short while all was well and has been now for a few months. Not saying that this might be your problem but maybe worth trying the same?If that does not resolve matters perhaps try the diagnostics software for the batts? If so p.m. me.2
