  • Piman: Are you selling them all together?
I need one more to make up the 12kwh I think would be optimal for me.

  • Hi All
does anyone know if there is a planned upgrade to the Lux/Octopus Agile varient of their web portal?  Its looking a bit primative now in that the selection of half hour slots etc. is a bit rigid
How can you get the Octopus Agile version of the firmware for a Luxpower ACS 3600 ?

Request it through your installer, infinity innovations will then make it visible on your system.

Hi all - just got a PV & battery setup done with a LuxPower inverter.

My house has a low baseload (~85W) and it seems to generally draw this from the grid when there's no PV, even if there's plenty of charge in the battery. Is this a general feature of hybrid inverters, that there needs to be an appreciable load for it to discharge into?

If there is a small amount of PV (say 30W) then the inverter seems happy to use this plus battery discharge to cover baseload. And once the sun is up, no problem for it to run baseload from PV and charge with why excess.

I'm on Octopus Agile so would prefer not to pull from the grid at all in peak times. Having said that, if I'm not in and it's only the baseload then even in peak times it's only 3p/hr but just curious whether there is a minimum discharge power.

Does this 85w show on the Lux app/website or is it showing 0 there? Is it only showing on you IHD? This can be because the CT clamp isn't quite picking up the current correctly.

If this is the case you can make a slight adjustment on the website. Go to the maintenance page and in the top section find CT Power Offset. Read the info on the"?" and make an adjustment. I'd suggest going with 100w as I think it's better to always be exporting a tiny bit than importing but that's me.

My IDH usually shows 6-15w export and I'm happy with that.
