A nice side effect of using my debit card for the first time in over 10 years is that I now appear to get Retailer offers. Mind you, it's for Jojo Maman Bebe and I have no idea why they thought I might want to buy any maternity or baby stuff.3

I've still got two Reward accounts (one sole, one joint) - and have registered both of them for Rewards Extra. There'll be hell to pay if I don't get £10 per month ...ZeroSum said:
I've got 2 accounts. So get £4 a monthcolsten said:
Why just £1? Current offer pays £2, new one £5 a month. So I’ll be £3 better off a month. Where are you losing £2?ZeroSum said:
If it doesn't work, I'm still £1 a month better off

If I manage to get my account corrected, and use my debit card, with my luck I'll probably get my retailer offers from Greggs

Sorry, haven't read through all the way. Is it still only possible to move from old rewards to new rewards via a phone call?I think....0

Thanks, just did so, wonder if doing it this way results in a credit search?polymaff said:michaels said:Sorry, haven't read through all the way. I am "on track" for the £5 reward for June (go to Reward current Account - current account options - reward extra trackers)My £500 debit card spend has a "tick". I will be using some of the various £500 spending options mentioned earlier in this thread. It would be useful to know if anyone has completed a £500 debit card spend of a type which did not qualify for the "tick" of approval.

Suggest you keep a very close eye on your account. I upgraded mine online 15th June, got confirmation email, account name showed as Reward, then by 21st it had been downgraded to Current account again. Halifax CS tells me it will 'automatically upgrade again on or around 1st July' but I'm not convinced.michaels said:

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6158242/why-still-reward-current-account-halifax/p3B.S. - not from the Badger but from the blind mice (AKA Halifax IT) running around in panic mode - as usual. My reaction - three times, now - is to upgrade when they've downgraded the account. Ironically, when I've upgraded they've got the Reward options set up as I originally set them - in May.S N A F U
