I can’t find the separate thread where someone had listed the potential ways to rack up the £500 debit card spend using various transfers, credit card payments, etc. Can anyone post a link to it?0

It got removed a while ago. As have various attempts to resurrect it in its original or modified form.Money_Man_Steve said:I can’t find the separate thread where someone had listed the potential ways to rack up the £500 debit card spend using various transfers, credit card payments, etc. Can anyone post a link to it?2 -
I think the majority of those ways are still in the earlier part of this thread.Money_Man_Steve said:I can’t find the separate thread where someone had listed the potential ways to rack up the £500 debit card spend using various transfers, credit card payments, etc. Can anyone post a link to it?0 -
I think you’re probably right, however it was useful to have the list all in one place rather than spread across multiple posts on different pages.Wheres_My_Cashback said:

I've paid £500 on a debit card to pay off a credit card 4 days ago. The Rewards tracker is saying i have only spent £5...is this lag in timing normal? The credit card statement shows that the DC finds have cleared.0

Even I paid off my credit card bill, took few days to clear that but it correctly shows that I have paid £500 to my PO card and it has also tracked correctly. £5 vs £500 is massive difference, it should have been cleared by now. Are you sure you checking right transaction or £500 is still in pending transaction in Halifax?

Good to hear yours worked so i will check back tomorrow.Ghostcrawler said:Even I paid off my credit card bill, took few days to clear that but it correctly shows that I have paid £500 to my PO card and it has also tracked correctly. £5 vs £500 is massive difference, it should have been cleared by now. There is definitely a lag in the rewards tracker, mine shows "last updated 8th June"1

So did you receive the payment @ocean@OceanSoundOceanSound said:
Comes in to effect on the day of sign up. The tracking on the app also says 'if you met the conditions you should receive your offer around the 12th of the following month'.phillw said:
You effectively signed up from the 1st, as that was the earliest date you could sign up for it.It says that it comes into effect on the day you sign up for it.
You only expressed your decision earlier.
I met the conditions in May, so I will be receiving the offer around the 12th of June. The fact that I didn't receive the £2 on the 2nd working day of this month (June) confirms the new reward is due around 12th.
p.s. Although the £2 offer used to be paid on the second working day of each month, I was paid the £2 in May on Friday 01 May 2020. Clearly not the second working day of that month. It was the first working day. Seems Halifax has changed it from 2nd to 1st working day from February 2020.
Anyway, 1st working day or 2nd working day, its now the 4th working day and it still hasn't been paid, so the new offer payment is due around 12th.
(I suspect i know the answer).0 -
Despite chaos at the Halifax, the system looks to be working. Close to £3.75 pre-tax extra in exchange for a little extra effort, per month, per account.I take it that DDs are no longer required?0
