I think I read in the FAQs that balance = 0 is also accepted but I wouldn't risk it.
Even the tracker says "You’ve kept your balance at or above £0 each day this month so far." so 0 is OK as well.

All of those Reward acs that I look after (7) that hadn't tracked the debit card 'spend', have done so this morning, Monday, after Thursday(?) DC deposits were taken into account.
IIRC they were made Thursday, were probably pending Friday - or Hfax IT hadn't fixed the tracker - and the reward tracker poss doesn't work week ends..

    Similar situation here.
I made the spend on Wednesday evening and it showed on the transaction list on Saturday.
However the tracker kept showing an exclamation mark on spend over the weekend.
As you point out it doesn't seem to work on weekends, plus seems a bit slower than OB to catch up with activity.
I believe that if this past weekend had been end of month it wouldn't have been an issue.
The spend was claimed by merchant and listed on Online Banking on Sat, therefore that date would have let me get the reward.

DC and payments in seems to lag by a day & don't update over the weekend.
So all weekend it was only showing the DC that had cleared and the payments that were made up to Thursday.
Today it's only showing those up to Sunday, despite a DC payment clearing today.
I assume the lag wouldn't prevent you from receiving the £5, but the DC not clearing probably would. I wouldn't recommend anyone risk it though.

    Agreed.
Terms and conditions are clear in that DC payment must clear at latest on the last day of the month to receive reward. If it's a weekend day then tracker would not reflect that until Monday but from what I saw OB does show the transaction earlier..

DC payments made to Pingit are definitely NOT eligible. I made a payment of £500 on Thursday it has gone from pending to my statement today and it’s still saying no spend made so far on the tracker.
looks like I will have to find another way to fulfill this criteria

BTW the new exclusion under Reward Extras regarding Debit Card transactions is "When you make a money transfer to another account.".  When does anything you do with a Debit Card not involve a money transfer to another account?

1: Is that exclusion new? I thought it had been in there for a while, if not all along?
2: While I acknowledge that it isn't strictly-speaking a "money transfer" I assume what they mean by this is that a debit card deposit into another account won't qualify.

    2. Still begs the question " When does anything you do with a Debit Card not involve a money transfer to another account?"
I guess that it'll be down to our experiments - as usual... :)

They do. It takes 1-2 working days for the tracker to update after the payment clears.

Chatted for 2 minutes on Friday with CS via the mobile app. Half an hour later the delayed June £2 payment appeared. Could be a coincidence.

Probably was. We all seemed to get in on the 5th.

Now all they have to do is to sort out the post-first of June software.  My Reward accounts suggest that I'm still on £2 per month and yet also allow me to use the Rewards Tracker - with barmy results... :)

They're not intending to run the two systems in parallel, are they?  Not that I'd say no to £7 per month... B)
