Halifax Reward Account changing to £3 charge with “lifestyle rewards”

I got a push notification from the Halifax App at lunchtime advising that 2 x £5.00 had been credited. Checked 'er indoors and her £5.00 was credited too. We have three accounts - sole each and a joint, so £15.00 credited. Rewards were via £500 "spend", of which I've still got all £1,500 of it...

After 111 pages of discussion our "Peaches En Regalia" (Frank Zappa) moment has arrived! Looks like many of the different type of Debit Card payments have worked. It would be interesting to know of any that haven`t worked.

really? how did you get this notifcation. I never get these kind of notifications from halfifax, only when money is coming in or out but not rewwrds

The reward is money going in. So you get a notification if you have set it up on the app.

i have all the notifications set up on my app - infact ile read them out now

That is the only two notifications i have with Halifax. Is there meant to be something else in the notification tab in the app?
