I've just received my fiver as well. Now regretting choosing the £5k balance option instead of the £500 DC spend.

If you read back a page you may find the answer to the £2 question - it depends on when you opened the account.
Read further back on here or emails or onscreen messages when you logged on to your Halifax account. You'll see they suspended collection of the fee because of Covid-19. And normally6 the fee is only payable if you don't make the minimum total value of credits to the account.1 -
Reminds me of a TV Programme it was called "Happy Days"

For those who are non taxpayers, the 5k option is actually worth £6.25..Fingerbobs said:I've just received my fiver as well. Now regretting choosing the £5k balance option instead of the £500 DC spend.

I'm expecting it Tuesday, as I am presuming it'll be credited at the end of the day tomorrow. I do not intend staying up logging into my account every two minutes from 8pm tomorrow until it appears.Yorkshire_Pud said:I expect £5 tomorrow the 13th as it’s first working day after 12th.0 -
All too soon it will be time to decide whether to switch from one method to the other. Less than a year to go now.Fingerbobs said:I've just received my fiver as well. Now regretting choosing the £5k balance option instead of the £500 DC spend.
