I was thinking the same. It remains to be seen what the tracker says when it updates again - mine says it last updated on July 30, so obviously the tracking information currently relates to last month......

EVEN though it describes it as the status for AUGUST 2020 !
What an IT disaster - bad even by LBG's dismally low standards.

If you consider this a disaster, what would you call a real disaster?  :D

I don't think it would be very fair to call the new Rewards scheme a failure. To the contrary - it pays over twice the previous monthly amount, and doesn't need those pesky DDs. If it's so bad for you, though, you can just switch your account to somewhere that's better for you  :)

Gosh! That English lesson has really got to you, colsten.
Without my repeated intervention our Reward Accounts wouldn't have paid out a penny with regard to July - and, without great care, the current website would mean that the same would apply to August.  Now that is an "IT project that fails"
As for that "have you stopped beating your wife" nonsense, and your final sentence - emoji or not - Well! I never!

    Hi ,
Just to confirm, for the Reward account, if i leave £5K + in it, does that avoid the £3 monthly fee, or do i still have to flip 1500 in/out monthly ?
Actually have had a Reward account previously but switched it out when they cut the monthly "reward" received...
Thinking of switching out a nationwide a/c to halifax for the £100, once i have confirmed details above, and checked previous switch bonus from Halifax was before April 2018.
    Thanks

Think if you don't, not only will you get charged, you won't get the £5 either

I've just received my fiver as well. Now regretting choosing the £5k balance option instead of the £500 DC spend.

For those who are non taxpayers, the 5k option is actually worth £6.25..
You can't claim the tax back with the DC spend option
    Why not?
    Am I missing something here?
The £5 monthly reward - which is not interest - is paid net of tax whichever way (the £5k in the account way or the £500 debit card spend way) you earn it isn't it?  And if net of tax the tax can be claimed back regardless of which way it was 'earned'.
