My daughter has delivery saver and early on in the lockdown it was suspended and the subscription payments were put on hold/refunded, so I didn’t think they were doing it anymore.
I know she’s getting deliveries again now but wasn’t sure it was the same everywhere (she lives 45 minutes away from me).My neighbour, who used to have a Tesco delivery, still hasn’t been able to get a slot but I’m not sure if she has Delivery Saver.
Definitely sounds worth further investigation.0 -

Their loss is Tesco's gain, and we hadn't used Tesco for years.1 -
Tesco slots will be flat rate £4.50 from Aug (or £5.50 if coming from "fullfillment centre" ) irrespective of time of day. This is clearly designed to get people locked into their monthly pass.
Also their Aldi price match is a factor. Yes have cheapo goods in store but if you wanna get it thru internet the chunky charge applies! And there is now the face mask factor too. Many people are not happy about wearing one so choose delivery instead.0 -
I had two delivery passes, one with Ocado and one with ASDA. I dropped the ASDA pass, because although their organic food is great quality and lots cheaper, I wouldn't get enough of my order. Ocado completely fell over right at the start of the lockdown and I got about one slot.
I switched to a Morrisons delivery pass. Not had problems getting a slot at all. BUT I am getting fed up with the arbitrary maximum quantity limits eg 1 x 500g organic brown onions only, 1 x organic cucumber, 2 x 400g organic Morrisons tinned tomatoes. Is anyone else experiencing this ?
Local Tesco does deliveries but not much organic. Sainsbury's does a lot of organic but no bags. Waitrose has a £60 minimum plus expensive veg. Wondering whether to try ASDA again.?
What are your experiences with limits and slots these days ?0 -
I have a priority 8-hour slot at Tesco.
Now that the 1-hour slots in my area seem to be becoming available, will I lose my priority status if I book a 1-hour slot?0 -

Tesco are now allowing new delivery saver sign ups so you can save money on the delivery charges. You can also use clubcard vouchers to pay for the delivery saver but you have to add the vouchers to your delivery saver account before they take the first payment so you might need to ring them up to do it as they seem to take the first payment immediately.

Also, if you sign up to delivery saver, you will be able to see slots up to 4 weeks ahead and so you should be able to get a 1 hour slot easily.2
