I was just surfing the net and looking at stuff in morrisons. and apparently they got loads of shopping slots for delivery today! so I've ordered stuff which under normal circumstances I would of had delivered from sainsburys. its being delivered today between 1 and 3oclock. only thing is you need amazon prime account. so I'll see how it goes, and maybe do it this way in future.

so the shopping has arrived. there is no receipt and milk container has dent in the side of it. its morrisons stuff sold via amazon prime, and it seems fine. it'll save me queuing this weekend.

Yes, been doing that for over a year. I love amazon fresh.

I'm an Amazon Prime customer but can't get Amazon Fresh here. Do get Amazon Pantry, but that's closing at the edn of June. I think they will be selling Morrisons non-fresh items and Whole Foods non-fresh items in bog standard Amazon.

Had an Iceland delivery today and the bags they used were fantastic, really heavy duty. They have post consumer waste bag on them and recyclable. Got 6 and well worth the 50p bag charge.  Better that I've had from Waitrose and Sainsbury's. Had everything I ordered bar 3 items; bisto granules on offer but already got a spare, custard tarts for the second time in a row and celery which was for the parrot so he'll have to make sacrifices like everyone else.
Iceland are also selling 100ml 70% alcohol hand sanitiser for £2. I ordered one and got it in my delivery.
  • I’ve had a different experience with Iceland on my last two deliveries. They used to use the standard Iceland carrier bags with their logo on which were strong and now they have used these very shabby basic plain bags that split.

That's a nuisance, my local Iceland must have run out of the cheap bags so we got these heavy duty ones instead. The last Waitrose click and collect I had they used quite small pedal bin liners which were a faff. First world problems I guess.
  • I have an Ocado smartpass but my husband does not. He can get delivery slots but I cannot! Looks like Ocado are blocking delivery slots to smartpass holders. Surely this is illegal?

I have a SmartPass and there are loads of slots available.  I think it must depend on something else.

I have an account but no SmartPass.
I haven't been able to get on the Ocado website since the start of lockdown, let alone look for a delivery slot.
