Morning folks
Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was feeling so tired and grotty with this cold that I didn't go to work and holed up at home. I'm feeling a bit better in myself today and the cold seems to have entered the cough, tight chest and snot monster stage that OH experienced. Still, it's a lovely day here and I'm going to make sure that we go up to the allotment for an hour or so. We were due to get a massive manure delivery today but I put them off til next week.
Today's plans:
B/L/D from stores- done
Check PMP - done
Reconcile budget sheet. - done. Looks a bit better than I expected. Also check that OH is up to date with his invoices. - done. He is.
Spend 10 mins or so in the utlity room prepping for painting- done
Spend 10 mins whipping a duster round the kitchen to dust all the non-worktop type surfaces - done
Check how much Christmas money I have left - done
Go to allotment, mark out plot boundary and spend a little bit of time clearing the back section. - done. I feel a bit better for getting out in the fresh air. I also christened my new hedge shears by having a go at the path at the back of the house when I got home.
Plant peas indoors instead of at allotment as soil not delivered today
Pick up potting compost from B&M. Alternatively, might just bring a bucket of soil back from the allotment!
Crochet- done
Have a good one all

made appointment for free holistic treatment tomorrow
more knitting - hope to finish sock 1 today
Sew at least 1 badge on to blanket I'm making
charge phone at appointment
have a good day all. Purps.5 -
Morning all
Been batch cooking this morning, and it smells lovely in here
I made: ham and vegetable soup, lamb and apricot tagine and the filling for a turkey, ham and veg pie. OH made himself useful by chopping up stuff etc. I have the pastry for the pie(s) resting in the fridge for rolling out later. I will freeze some of this food, and add it to my newly refurbished freezer list! All done now, and cooled in fridge. I made 3 decent sized turkey, ham and veg pies, OH and I had almost half of one for dinner. Will freeze 2. Will decide about freezing the other stuff tomorrow - it is safe for now in the fridge.Off to Lidls this afternoon to do a shop, and I need to fold washing on the airer and put it away, tidy round a bit, and clean the top of the cooker as it is a bit messy after my marathon cooking session. Did quite a big shop, as it is a real pain to get to Lidls at the moment, due to the centre of town being closed off due to road works. They had 40l bags of multi purpose compost for £1.99 if any of the other gardeners amongst us are interested.Hope your appointment goes well Purps.5 -

Much love
to everyone that is feeling poorly/down/overwhelmed. Hang on in there - we can get through this. I've had a 50/50 sort of day. Still mega busy and very tired, but feeling better again than yesterday - cough is on its way out. Lots of little things are starting to aggravate me though and I need to just let them go. I've been in a bit of a grump today which I don't like that much...
Anyway - been to the vet and NT1 had her stitches out and was given the all clear by the vet. NT2 goes back next week. I've seen the bill, and am desperate for the insurance to pay out soon.
Other than that I have moved more than I did yesterday so will take that as a small victory.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Morning guys
feeling good today. I have been feeling better for a couple of weeks now which is a relief after months and months of not being well
long may it continue! Selfishly having a second cup of coffee before I wake madam will mean a bit more of a rush but seems worth it
Today I am driving to visit dd and dgd2 so time for small things will be limited... My day has now changed as dd has said she didn't sleep very well with dgd so has cancelled to go back to bed. Although disappointing not to see them both I could do with an extra day to relax
* load of washing & hang up
* renewed madam's library books online
* oh & I to have los for lunch - made far too much of the salmon noodles yesterday!
* drop a couple of bags at cs on my way
* stop and check tyre pressure
* TOMM when I get home - I can catch up now with kitchen as didn't do yesterday
* chicken breasts, sour cream and refried beans out of freezer for dinner
* film and treats from home tonight. I will definitely made a cake when I get home for madam
* write list of sewing goals for next 8 days
* small list of shopping bits needed - fruit & veg mainly I think
That's all. Happy Friday

Morning folks!
@determined_new_ms - good to hear you sounding so chipper!
Friday is mil day so can't get much done. On the plus side, she's decided to come here so I have a little more time. I wanted to go up to the allotment and have a little bonfire but I didn't get up early enough and OH doesn't get up until about 11 at least. It's a real shame as I'm missing out on some lovely weather. I might try a little potter in the garden instead. I'm feeling a bit off with my vertigo due to the cold and woke up with a horrible sinus headache at 5.30 anyway
Today's list:
B/L/D from stores
Mooch in the garden
Sulk a bit
Crochet
Hopefully an early night as OH is gigging
Have a good one all
