I now have a lovely problem - I finally made the threshold for a survey so I have £50 coming in - so should I put them on housing rent deposit account, Emergency Fund or buy the trainers that I need!
Help me keep strong, I think I want to put then om my housing ISA - where I might get a bit of interest. ON the other hand my £200 EF is a long way away from the £1000 that I aim for.
Hope everybody is having a nice Friday?Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning folks
Advance warning. I apologise for being such a moaner!
Another nice day; another day of feeling carp. This cold that OH passed to me has some very distinct stages and I'm now getting into the "getting on my chest" stage/ *sigh*
So yesterday I managed a bit of a garden potter for an hour but it made me feel pretty rough. We went to the garden centre quickly as we had £50 of joint Christmas money to spend. Seedlings don't fare well in our garden due to the voracious slugs. We came back with a nice bluey-purple rhododendron (£13.99). OH has a real thing for them so it will be nice for him to have.
We were suprised to find mil on the doorstep when we got back (it was 1:10 and she was supposed to be arriving at 2!).
OH was gigging last night and didn't get in til about 3. I'm finding it a bit tough at the moment as it means he's just asleep or out, or practising most of the time. We had a whole 1 hour together yesterday! I think it would be easier if I wasn't feeling as ropey. Also, I never know quite when he'll be doing what, so I find myself hannging around waiting for him to get up.
Anyway, need a plan for today:B/L/D from stores. See if OH likes last night's dinner today. It was pearl barley risotto which we've had several times before and he usually likes but he was picking at this one. He said it was nice, but eventialluy admitted that for some reason, the texture of the PB was making him gag?!
Need to go the to the butcher's for mince - done
Potter into garden for a little bit - done. Went in a mission with OH and picked up compost. Sowed more peas and potted up our fuschia plugs that arrived today. Also repotted a larger fuschia into a nice pot and our overwintered chillies into larger pots.
Might also have accidentally spent my Christmas money on a small wooden greenhouseCrochet
Dust for 10 mins in this week's room - done
Strip and remake the bed
Have a good one all

Morning allDitty, another vote for splitting the survey moneyCLF, would your OH be amenable to putting his activities on a wall planner so that you know what is going on? Hope you feel better soon.Today I have / will:Used more freezer fruit for breakfastPegged out washingCleaned sink etc and put DW onCleaned under the DW when OH pulled it out to investigate a suspicious puddle. Doesn't seem to be anything to do with the DW. Probably OH spilt something.Put ingredients for bread in the BMCleaned bath, basin, loo in main bathroom, but still need to do the floorPosted GS1's bithday card / present, and got a TV mag from the corner shop at the same timeSort fridge outSome food prep as we are feeding a crowd tomorrowAmongst all this, DD will probably land with kids who will want to do something messy5

He does put his gigs down (although not what time he's leaving), I mean more, I never know if he'll be up at 9, 10, 11 or 12. Or if he'll then want a nap at 2, 3 or 4 (from 1-3 hours!). Other faves include 2 hour long baths and ad-hoc practise. I'm just in a grump cos I'm a bit too rough to properly amuse myselfLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.313 -
Hope you feel better. I feel your pain on you OH. When mine worked long shifts in pubs and I didn’t I had no idea what time he might rise on his day off and on the odd occasion we got a day off together it made planning difficult.Forgot to mention earlier I’ve use ‘too good to go’ app after reading a forumite a diary. It’s basically YS stuff but you ‘pre order’ or get meals from various outlets. I’ve got a SM bag I’m collecting later so I’ll let you know if it’s worth the £3.09. All about reducing food waste.4
