Good plan to split the survey money. I do have to prioritise the emergency fund over the housing fund, but will eventually need to move in the future. Have had a spendy day but very carefully planned, and walked most places and got most of the stuff for my weekly shop, except the 3 important things I forgot as didn't have a list.
Tomorrow will be the practical day. Tonight I will have to check bank account, write out my spendings, confirm meal plan for week. If I went shopping tonight I could get a NSD day tomorrow, but I think I will just wait and do it in the morning.
Have done about 20000 steps. Correcting - phone claims 28000 steps!
Will now go and cook tea for me and ds.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

So in my bag of goodies I got:
2 chicken breasts in sauce (from a local small batch maker - it’s not a big chain SM) - in freezer
6 big sausage rolls - in freezer
small block of goats cheese
vegan sausage roll - tomorrow’s tea
3 cheese/ tomato bakes - tomorrows tea
large pot of chilli soup - in freezer
4 branded bagels
2 half baguettes
8 fresh bread rolls
we had some rolls with tea tonight, the rest will get used tomorrow or made in to breadcrumbs. Not a bad haul for £3.09. Would definitely do again.5 -
That all sounds rather yum Purps! I downloaded the app a while back but I never managed to time anything correctly. I either missed the availability or we weren't around to collect. I reckon that the supermarkets might have better availability though as I was looking mostly at independents.

Morning folks!
Well I'm well enough to be back in work. Typical. I started feeling brighter at about yesterday lunchtime. Still I did have a quick jaunt out with OH on a few errands a squeezed in a coffee and cake whilst at it
OH is at a wedding fair today but only for a short while and I'm in here so not much interesting going on:B/L/D from stores
Remind OH to do invoices
Made a small packed lunch for OH - done
Charge phone in work - done
Check PMP - done
Put washing away (neverending stooooooorrrryyyyyyyyy oooohhhhhooooohhhhhhoohhhhhh)
Crochet
Small experiment in utility room. As we are decorating it (but at the moment I'm working on it bit by bit). We have (fake) beams and the plaster has shrunk away from it. I want to caulk the gaps. I had a go yesterday which looks ok-ish. Certainly no worse than it looks now but it's making a jaggedy edge as the beams aren't straight. I want to try masking tape on the beams first to see if it's neater. The beams are fake and rough so difficult to wash the excess off.
Have a good one all

I’ve missed a few Carrie and you obviously need to think about logistics. This was an independent sm rather than a big chain but I noticed there are some bigger ones on there. If there is a shop that’s suitable it’s helpful to look and see what time it ‘sold’ as if it’s similar several day’s on the bounce it suggests that is near when it’s loaded to give you an idea of what time you might need to be on to grab it.The smalls certainly enjoyed seeing what was in the haul! Right I’ve about 90 minutes to get some stuff done whilst smalls are at an activity so my plan is:
peel spuds and parsnips
make YP
make cauli cheese
peel carrots
cast on new sock as finally finished first on yesterday
then when they are back/tonight after guests have gone:
finish homework
vacuum through
DH to make stuffing
tea will be from the magic bag
Relax with some knitting/ watch something from planner with DH
update YN ABEnjoy your Sunday folks.4 -
So so far I have:
- Walked dog (short walk)
- Deep cleaned bathroom incl mould problem so my lungs are now bleached
- Vacuumed whole house and washed some floors
- Stripped bed
- Run one machine of sports clothes
- One a top up shop as needed laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, oats and pate all prime items and I got everything for £14 as I had a bit of cash sitting around.

Evening allOH and I cooked a big meal for visiting family today, and there will be loads left for other meals. Apart from that, walked the dog, folded laundry, cleaned bathrooms, loads of washing up etc. Had some laughs with visitors, as they wanted to look through the old photos
Not spent anything. Less than thrilling list, I know!
