To be honest, if you cant see it then your blind as a bat.

I am not supporting anything, i am saying we should rally for a change. Get more rewards from the banks and stop them making billions per billions per year whilst the world is in poverty. We need to stand up, but it looks like most of you just accept the way things are. Nothing will change like that.
Rally against banks because they are offering fee-free bank accounts with an optional perk - to pay £4 in fees and get £7 back? You're delusional. What do you want, the government to step in and make banks pay you to become their customers? It's the other way around, pal. Banks offer services, we pay for those, some more than others... just be smart and try to pay less.

There are so many countries in the world where you need to pay account fees to get any banking services... I lived in 5 countries (3 western world, 2 emerging economies) and UK banking services are on par, if not better, than in other places.

Once again you are all missing the point. The banks need us, not the other way around. I cannot believe how for the life of me everyone is defending the banks. They are corrupt and have a monopoly over us. They rule the world essentially and profit billions of us.

They have brainwashed the people into thinking we need them but we dont however We have no choice but to have a bank  due to rules and regulations and money laundering etc. They make money on our fees, direct debits, card transactions, our money - you name it.

Dont be fooled thinking the banks are doing us a service, they make billions and give us £4 a month a return. Yep, that sounds about fair.

    They are corrupt
What did the authorities say when you presented your evidence of this?

Life is unfair and bankers are thieves, yeah we all know that. Good luck with your efforts to overthrow the world order. Keep us posted.. but meanwhile I suggest you close your Barclays blue rewards account, so that they don't give you the £3 each month going forward. In fact you should probably switch away from Barclays, as they are the biggest crooks out of all. (insert sarcastic emoji here)

Co-op, which claims to be an ethical bank (whatever that might mean), has a similar rewards programme. You can make up to £5.50 per month and you will pay no fee: co-operativebank.co.uk/currentaccounts/everyday-rewards

    You're welcome.

You've contradicted yourself in the same sentence.  First you say we don't need banks, but then you say we have no choice but to have a bank account, so in other words we do need banks.  Which is it?

If you think we don't need banks, why are you using them?  In fact, why do you have accounts and credit cards with several different banks?  Over on another thread you say that "I have several bank accounts with everyone bar natwest and metro."  Why?  If having a bank account is something that you have to do reluctantly, why don't you just stick to one account?
If the banks are corrupt and need us, you're just feeding that corruption and their need by using multiple banks and you could reduce the corruption by closing all but one of your accounts.

Same here.  £10 per month for doing absolutely nothing.  I love Barclays Blue Rewards, -I'm on my second lot of double Blue Rewards at the moment, and when they run out I'll be switching another account to Barclays if they run the same double Blue Rewards offer again.

No contradiction. You need to understand the concept. We DO NOT need banks. However we have no choice but to have banks accounts. Why? The rules, regulations, money laundering etc etc. They all force us to have banks. Who makes all these up? Yes, you got it. Its the banks! They control the world, forcing good people like ourselves to have bank accounts so they can profit of us. It is a necessity. You can be happy with your 5 pound reward per month when the banks are laughing in your face making billions of us.
