Not at all, i am all for banks making a profit. Nothing wrong with that. However, for them to make billions of OUR money. Yes, our own money then reward is with £4 per month is a disgrace. We should be getting alot more

You are so totally right. How could I not see that I can get by without banks, silly me! It's so obvious now that you mention it. I could easily have
- drawn cash out of a wall
- paid my bills automatically each month
- used plastic to pay in supermarkets at home and abroad
- secured a refund for the money I paid to the retailer who went bust
- grown my money so it kept pace with inflation
- and goodness knows what else
without those banks. And all those tens of thousands of people who had jobs with banks, from cleaners and security guards to clerks to managers to directors and executives, could easily have got jobs elsewhere. But who could we complain about if not about bankers?

Colsten - i can see you are one of those guys that praise the banks when you are happy but castrate them when the rescission hits and blame them. U no what i mean, 'bankers are corrupt' 'bankers are greedy' etc

As for your points, no logic at all. You are missing the concept of banking and these banks! Its nice to have them, they need to be fair with us. They are laughing at you and you are defending them. As for your points, you can just easily do everything with cash but i agree its nice to have a bank that goes by the book and looks after our needs instead of their own. That is what we should all be targetting!

So where is profit going to come from if not depositor funds in one form or another?

You're all for banks making a profit but object to that profit being from your money - whose money do you think should contribute to their profits?  Where do you think banks get money from?

No i am all for banks for making profit and i do not object them from making it with our money. However if they are making billions then we should be getting more then £4 per month. They should give us customers what we deserve

Who forced you to have them, when and how?

When, by whom, and how was your choice taken away? 
Who brainwashed you, and how did you let yourself get brainwashed? When did you get brainwashed?
