I've just rang my local County Court.
BW Legal have paid the £25 court cost. Both myself and BWL have filed our defences. I've now got to wait for the judge to make a decision.  Interestingly my " invoice" stands at £174.89p....that's gone up from 50p per hour parking fee
No, you don't wait for the Judge to find against you for not following court directions and not turning up.

If you have ONLY filed a defence so far there is more to do = WS AND EVIDENCE THEN THE HEARING.

Has anybody else noticed that the "reply to the defence" is dated 17th February 2020, some 4 days before the judge made their order, (on 21st February 2020).

What could that mean Castle please?
I would be asking the court for a copy of their "reply to the defence" in case they have filed a different one.

Badsiclaly there is no chance they created the doc 4 days before they were told to. Its yet another template and yet another screw up. Obvious to point it out
    Whats your deadline?

No point making an offer.  Proceed with your WS & evidence.

No point complaining when you are at WS & evidence stage, and their own pre-hearing evidence pack will give you the details of who signed the contract anyway.

How will knowing the landowner help at this stage?

    As Coupon-mad said on Sunday:

    Date of case is 1/06/2020
    What doc please?
That's not your deadline to file WS and evidence. What is your deadline? Your hearing letter tells you. Either a date or number of days before

the REPLY TO DEFENCE was ordered on date x
youve said that 4 days before date x is when the reply to defence was dated
why would they have created that reply 4 days before being told to do so? Doesn't that strike you as odd?

Just been to the said Car Park. Premier Park are the PPC but CCP are named on the entrance signs...advice please as I'm a bit confused
    Who are 'CCP'?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
