You are right - they do show up eventually but I cannot see prices as they are typed over the product descriptions! It could be just me - with my phone set on large font, I don’t know.poppellerant said:Those saying that Comparasaurus does not show results. At first I saw the same message, but if you wait for a couple of seconds your results will show. Like others, I was a little impatient at first. It could be the large font you are using. Temporarily set your phone to normal font size and see if the results show properly.
Completely agree. I do own a modern smartphone, but I don't like to fill it up with apps. I primarily use a computer and prefer doing so over a phone as that is just what I am used to.Bacman said:What about those of us who don't use apps? (yes, we exist), websites?I'm wondering if Asda and Tesco were the main payers for Mysupermarket and now they aren't using them for giving price comparisons money backs, if that is why Mysupermarket closed?0 -
Hi
can anyone recommend a supermarket price comparison App from the Google play store. Until recently I had the My supermarket App to compare prices from the usual supermarkets like Asda, Aldi, Morrison's, Sainsbury's etc but it has now been closed down and I am absolutely lost without it. As I use the 3 main supermarkets in my town, Morrison's, Sainsbury's and Aldi to get the best deals on product's it used to show me the best price on a given product and I can't find anything similar to replace it. Any idea's please would be greatly appreciated.0 -
I wouldn't use Comparesaurus, going by what a previous poster said about the permissions asked for. They sound really dodgy. For instance, why would I give them permission to access my whole network? I'd also be worried about malware being installed.Don't others worry about things like that?3

@poppellerant It worked - thanks! It could be the large font you are using. Temporarily set your phone to normal font size and see if the results show properly.

I am highly risk-averse, but wasn't at all worried by installing the app on IoS. Not that I've used it after an initial testGigervamp said:I wouldn't use Comparesaurus, going by what a previous poster said about the permissions asked for. They sound really dodgy. Yes. I see no reasons, apart from bad ones, why the app should need such intrusive access to personal information, and for that reason I won't be using it. The risks are too great.Gigervamp said:I wouldn't use Comparesaurus, going by what a previous poster said about the permissions asked for. They sound really dodgy.
