IMPORTANT- managed payments

Going back to the question about different sign up routes - I had the 'upgrade' message on both my private accounts- and updated both - and had 'thank you ' messages on both. However, I just logged into the little used one and it says I needed further authentication and that they had sent 2 small payments to my bank and I needed to confirm the payment amounts. I did that and now have the 'welcome' message and have just uploaded 2 items and both have been taken from the current 100 FVF offer promotion.

I updated my bank details and was then told they would send 2 small deposits to my bank. Is there as specific way these should be input such as £0.12, 12p or just 12.

I just put the 0.06 and 0.08 for mine

Hi there, you had posted on a thread about delivery confirmation for parcels, I have merged this into the managed payments thread.

I had to confirm two payments to my bank for one of my accounts. They came to a total of 08p so I was surprised to get this message in the confirmation email.  'We'll deduct the microdeposit amounts from your bank account within the next 3 days'. I will expect a direct debit for 08p from ebay soon then. Surely it's not worth their while to reclaim such a small amount.

Out of interest, are there any sellers here NOT yet  on managed payments?

This only happened to me this week.  Luckily I only had a couple of items about to finish which I've now had payments for and sent out. Going to remove remove my bank details again as soon as I get round to it and that's the sad end of my ebay activities after many years!

yeah me. One account got the invite last week and I've successfully signed upto that.
my other account has still not had the invite, and when I log on everything looks the same. is there a way to manually opt in?
