LW.. not a single solitary spoon here.. not even a slotted one!
DS2 got his new pc delivered today so he is a happy pickle. Funny how he suddenly managed to buy a new one when the fan died on my ancient lappy!
Male parent helping OH play bonny with the car.. OH is COVERED in oil.. head to foot.. he has never touched an engine in his life so it's a teensy bit messy.
Right.. I CANNOT do a HHC so.. it is 1:50 now.. so I am doing 10 minutes. ... go.....

WMx1 to TD, WMx2+3 awaiting their turn.
Spare spoons heading your way, LW and Jazee. I need to keep a couple for myself to get through my exercise class this afternoon, and I don't want to fall asleep at the cinema tonight - going to a live screening from the Royal Opera House of the new ballet "The Cellist".
But first Rosie needs her walk. We shall be dodging showers
(((Hugs))) and sticks all round, as needed xx11 -
two lots of washing done - dried first in TD but, as the weather isn't matching the forecast I pegged the second lot out - dried enough to iron so that's been done and they're on the maiden drying off properly now.
Trying to summon up some GUAG to deal with the kitchen.

Work done. I have managed to negotiate a slightly earlier finish time each day meaning I can now pick the children up from school, saving me around £125 pcm childcare costs. Phew.Laundry is going, bank accounts checked, lovely BiL is taking a delivery of wood for me tomorrow and stacking it too. Thank goodness for kindness. Going to clean out the fire now then put dinner in the oven xx
Jazee take care love xx11 -
found some GUAG; kitchen cleaned and floor now drying. It's trying to snow here but shows about as much enthusiasm for that as I did for cleaning the kitchen (Insert rolling on the floor laughing smiley here).

well that 10 minutes never happened. See how utterly useless I have become!
I don't even know how to combat this level of sluggishness.. it is like I have lost any ability to move. When I do find energy to do something (usually laundry) it takes me aaaaaaages to get done what would normally take 30 seconds.. I can normally load 2 washing machines and the dryer in under 30 seconds.. I can normally empty and refill the dishwasher in the time it takes the kettle to boil.. I am simply broken.
OH got the filters and brakes replaced on the car.. air filter still needs doing but the replacement is on order.
Dot came out of school in full meltdown mode.. Twinkle has had a 10 minute nap.. I am exhausted and we need to go to shop.. I may just send OH because he will be 1000 times quicker.

Paid stuff done but not a lot of flying.
laundry shuffled and kitchen reset after supper. Have organised clothes and my work bag as I’m travelling in to the office tomorrow and will need to leave early.
Hugs sticks and spoons to those in need. I’m planning on sitting down with my book now, DH has gone out.

Evening allSecond day went just as well as the first, still not doing much. Had a factory tour this morning (never even been in one before) and saw the whole line from ingredients through to end products. Then met heads of department to understand their business areas. I think I overran on every single one. So much to learn. Don’t have too much of a training structure for my own role currently which is a bit frustrating but little I can do as my line manager doesn’t actually start until 9th March!
Called to see mum and dad on way home, first time since she was home from hospital again, and she is a lot better. Disappointed with dad as he is using the hoist on his own again when it is designed for 2 people to use, not an 82 year old man on his own!
DH had not prepped anything for dinnerso as I was already late home I made a bacon roll. He got his own. He did walk dog again today (need to check how far tho as I don’t think she is getting enough exercise for a young albeit small dog), and he washed up the few things we used for tea. Oh and he did a load of washing.
I have done nothing else and am not going to tonight. Oh I did clear up doogie poop again the little rat bag. I had just let her out and she came rushing in after her wee, gave her a minty dentistik as a reward. She promptly went upstairs ate the stik and pooped on the landing. By the smell of her I think she may have eaten some of itagain. Any tips for how to stop this would be much appreciated.
Feel better vibes for LW, Jazee, Natty and anyone else have missedMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!10 -
So I had a captive audience and I told them all I feel rubbish etc and said they all need to help.. Boog says ' I do do stuff' .. and Meem says 'and I feed the cats'... and OH huffs like a spoiled child and stomps about scaring the kittens and sorts the uniforms for tomorrow, put the shoes next to the litter tray (where the kits will wee in them) makes a cuppa and a pizza.
I put the dryer on, filled both washers and wondered why I even bother.I give up.. honestly I despair!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8
