Evening
just back from a long office day, I’m tired after 3 hours of driving and having left the house @ Stupid o clock. I will join you all in slinky challenge, I’m also one who lost quite a lot and now it’s steadily creeping back, need to stop the rot! Sparkly line being drawn a la round x
I’m also an evening shoveller like already mentioned. Perhaps knitting is the answer, I have tons of yarn in the stash to use up so could kill two birds on that one!
This evening we have an easy supper as I took pasta bake out of the freezer to defrost, we do however need to clean and clean the master bedroom as the carpet will be fitted tomorrow. Will wait for DH to do that, it won’t take long... 3 pieces of empty furniture to temporarily rehome in the lounge then give the room a vac and a quick damp mop to get rid of any dust.
Have a good evening. Hugs, sticks, spoons available for those in need x8 -

The Slinky club is officially open again for business 🙂🦸🏼♀️Hello my name is ATB/ASB and my weight has crept back up to 12 stone. I have 2 stone to lose 💃🏼🙏🏻. I too am an evening shoveller. I also love wine, toast with butter and crisps xx7

Another one back in the slinky club. Please. After getting half way to my target on last year’s slinky push, I too have let it creep back up. Activity (well done Mademoiselle, so much better than exercise) seems to be non existent atm. Guilty as charged of snacking after lunch, especially at work, as well as the evening munchies. Particular weaknesses are red wine, cheese, cake and bread. In particular, I love bread 😳.
I’m not especially motivated in doing anything atm. All my lists are overwhelming me. Not sure why, hope I snap out of this mood soon.9 -
I am that used to lurking that I have forgotten to post! 🤣. So I promise that tomorrow I will try harder to be a good flylady 😁
I am another one who is trying to shed some pounds, I have been to my ‘fat’ club tonight & miraculously have lost some weight this week, so to try & stay on track I will go & prepare my overnight oats & put the kitchen to bed!

Just made 2 lots of overnight oats and put the bins out. Now in bed with a hot water bottle aimed at my grumbling hip.

Today a letter went in postbox , glass jars to bottle bank, a wall picture too bulky to go in car left outside house with "free" sign on it (someone rehomed it in 45 minutes!). 3 donated bundles dropped off. Garden rubbish stray toys lost in undergrowth bagged up and binned, kitty litter bagged up and binned. Recycling and kitchen bins done..
Earmarked more stuff for donations and dump runs to do when I get up properly in the morning. But time for a milky drink and read of Fred before bed.
See you all at sensible o'clock : wave:
The cold never bothered me anyway9 -
Morning all,
It’s a white world out there.
One load has just finished in the wm. DD’s bedding changed to wm queue for later today. HHI done.
2 appointments this afternoon in small town. Keeping fingers crossed that the snow stops, as I’m certainly not looking forward to driving up and down some of the hills later.
Off to job 2 in a short while, expecting chaos and other people’s priorities to feature.
Have a good day all.8 -
Morning all. No white stuff here but whether it's hit in the Peaks I don't know.
Parents eve tonight; yesterday I completely emptied lost property ready to put out. Plan is to get rid afterwards. There are half a dozen coats! They will go to a chazzer.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
