Grateful today for a mild day, for bumping into an old friend in the gym, for being on the 'right' side of the tram incident for where I wanted to go, for getting into my book, for an email from big sis, for being able to swim this evening (it's been so full of people recently that managing a full length without having to stop has been rare), for the car passing its MOT.

Happy Birthday GreenT & Dolly84.
Here’s my update, it’s been an out of routine type of day! Attended a funeral of a friends mum, worked half a day & had parents evening. Just being out of routine seems to stress me a little I’m not sure why?!Used up some vegetables today in the slow cooker with a stew.
Walked to school this morning and to parents evening. Trying to squeeze a few more miles in to meet my March challenge currently walked 6.05/31 miles.
According to my phone I’m spending an average of 5 hrs a day on my phone!!! I don’t think that’s right, I most certainly can’t continue I wonder if it’s counting the time the ‘MapMyWalk’ app is running?
Will clear another section of DS room only a small one as it’s his bed time.
Need to spend some time on budgets. I’m thinking of doing A 3 month rolling budget as I’m already aware of things in April/May that may catch me out.
I need to accrue money to cover it. No NSD today as made a donation to collection at the funeral. Still at 5/15
Gratitudes - working flexi hours, DS having an amazing parents evening & my parents for picking ds up from school so I could attend funeral & parents evening with DH.
I received a letter from Hmrc saying I under paid tax in 2018/2019 not sure how so will need into investigate.
I’ve also realised my employer is only deducting 4% for my pension should be 5!Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £175/£26010 -
Happy birthday to greent, dolly and DS1.Have been to mum's, put away all the food delivery and also read, watched part of a film, did some jigsaw and some sewing. Had another incomprehensible letter from the WTC people, sent on the 2nd (last Monday) so prior to the conversation I had last week, but I need to write a letter so that I have things down in order (and if anything goes wrong I have it on record that their decision is wrong and if necessary I will be appealing.Today I am grateful for a pleasant day (never got wet), mum's shed and progress on the sewing (enough light for simple parts of the design). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9

Day 11Hard times are often blessings in disguise. Let go and let life strengthen you. No matter how much it hurts, hold your head up and keep going. This is an important thing to learn when you are having a rough day, a bad month or a crappy year. Truth be told, sometimes the hardest lessons to learn are the ones your spirit needs the most. Your past was never a mistake if you learned from it. So take all the crazy experiences and lessons and put them in a box marked 'thank you'.Mental Wellness Day 11Focus on resting and relaxing today. Take a nap, sleep in, go to bed early. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7

Morning all
Quick catch up before work.
Achieved a NSD yesterday so now on NSDs = 3. Had a busy day at work on Monday and went to exercise class in the evening. Had to spend on next block of exercise sessions so did a small shop in Sainz.
Yesterday I worked at home and then did my PT job in the evening. The group have agreed to pay for me to continue my qualification - yay!
Belated happy birthdays to greent and dolly
Gratitudes - that my PT employer will pay for me to continue my qualification; gift of a mini orchid from someone I gave information and advice to for a job interview (she got the job!); sunshine

Monday and Tuesday were NSDs so 7/15, I'm off to the shop now though so Wednesday won't be. Only for fresh fruit and veg, milk etc, so should be a small amount of money and I have a list.
No decluttering achieved, minimal housework been done and nothing new to report.
Gratitudes are all of the routine sort, DD being kind, Hot water bottles, not getting caught in the rain, having "enough" even if it's not as much as many have! The older I get the less "stuff" I want.8 -
Quick check in from me. Feeling lazy should have gone out at lunchtime feel as it I could just fall asleep here. Will spend today, sent bday money to dd and footclinic treat time after I have done something in the gym. Also bought a duvet cover for grand daughter, might not work in my favour will want to stay over more. Spent ages choosing one, I refuse to have unicorns, Frozen ones remind me of the howling voices, had a amazon voucher so small spend, hope she likes Despictable me girl holding a unicorn. Weird day. Took books to the library, visited the community shop (under £10 spent - trying a few new things). Decided to eat my prawns on bread (wheat, rye and barley, bit malt loaf like but yum) with a smear of mayo and freshly ground black pepper on top. Cabbage is getting dizzy and carrots are getting ready to sprout from being trailed back and forth to mum's. Will have the cabbage with a couple of slices of bacon (less cutting) and eat the carrots raw for snacks. Simple is best. Can never remember whether the little bus is 5 to or 5 past the hour so was there in plenty of time. Waited and waited, checked my phone, 19 minutes past, (appointment half past) so quick call to my taxi firm. When I got there I found that the appointment was half an hour earlier than the time in my diary (missed it), however he had a free space at 2.30pm so I waited.Have lost another kg (slowly slowly but progress is progress, especially given everything else that is going on) and rest of session was very positive. Just missed a bus so sat with my book and a drink (took it with me) until the next was due. Normal bus must be broken, they were using a minibus instead (only 13 seats and a wheelchair space). Called in the library for a sit down and picked up 2 new books (had picked them in the morning but left them and after browsing the shelves, I found them where I had left them). Home, more prawns and bread, followed by plums. Will go to mum's later.Today I am grateful for losing weight, for my mood being on the rise again (letter from the WTC is bothering me, the situation is getting to the point where I'm not sure how to explain their multiple mistakes to them), for the community shop (going to use it to experiment with the things I eat, rather than sticking to a few old favourites) and the library (as always). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8
