- we should not expect to get email confirmations for the online applications
- confirmation will be sent by snail mail. Accounts are popular, so it could take a while for the confirmation to arrive
- initial deposits can be made electronically - details contained in the snail mail. Fingers xed we will be able to make the initial deposit before the end of the month

I wonder if the new account details (and therefore the info required to fund them) will be visible to existing account holders before the paper arrives?lcooper said:I also managed to get through to an MBS agent on the phone eventually.- we should not expect to get email confirmations for the online applications

In my experience I've found that they don't automatically appear in online banking, instead you have to wait till you know the account number before typing it manually into online banking (even as an existing customer) and even then the full account details take a few days to show.flaneurs_lobster said:

Can't seem to access the full T&Cs for these accounts - just takes me round in a circle to the general regular savers page.

I would like to thank the font of knowledge that is the people of this forum, for being so generous with their time to share their findings. I have had £1 in my MBS easy saver since 31/5/23 just in case, so have applied for both

And even then you cannot add it in online banking until they've received the first deposit. That's how it's worked in the past unless anything's changedBridlington1 said:

I have just tried adding the 2 new accounts I opened in branch this morning to my online account. Both funded with £300 and both showing as pending with a zero balance. I'm sure this will change soon but maybe not today.

MBS 8%.....yes I've applied but can't get as excited as others here about an account that's gonna give me £154 in interest at the end of 12 months. Given all the extra fun, delays, glitches, snail mail and web site woes it's only £20 quid more than FD !1
