You can't withdraw/close once the 14 day cooling off period has ended. This is the main reason why I never bothered with the Beehive regular savers. I thought the 1.5% and 3.5% ones would soon get overtaken by EA rates so didn't think them worth it and I forwent the 6% one as I may need the money before the end of the term.

Anyone has done early closure of Principality 1 Year Regular Saver Bond (Issue 32)?
There is not link to do it online. I have sent them a message though.

Please share your experience & timelines
    Thanks

You should be able to close the account by going to "Account Services" and clicking "Close Account". I think the only time I've used this method though was when I closed issue 27 last year. If my memory serves me well they closed the account the next morning and the money was in my nominated account later that day.

Usually though when I close a Principality regular saver I send them a message asking them to close it on a specific date (usually 1st) and arranged for some of the funds to be paid into my other Principality regular savers with the rest going to my nominated account, which is what I did for issue 32. Funds have always in my account by the end of the day in my case.

One other thing I will say though is that you will make your life easier later on if you keep an account open with Principality at all times, a double access account with £1 works well for this, as it saves having to reregister for online banking later on if they launch something competitive again.

I closed mine early this morning, via the Account Services.  The closed balance was in my linked account at mid-day.

I stopped paying into iss32 but didn't close it yet as it pays 4.5%, which is not far 'off' for my EA requirements atm.

Leeds BS are quick off the mark.  From 15/8/23:
Regular saver to rise to 5.25%
    Home Deposit Saver to 5.15%
You can always rely on Yorkshire folk...

Bridlington1 This is very helpful. Thank you :)
Closing the account now, though I havent received any response to my message from Principality.

@10_66 Same day credit? Thats better than I expected

@soulsaver true 4.5% isnt too far off, though many EAs are now 4.6%. After today's rate increase, maybe there will be a good Reg Saver offering a better trate than EAs, that I would rather redirect this accumulated money into
