TSB Monthly Saver now down to 1% for new accounts. Luckily its a fixed rate for existing holders - I renewed mine yesterday at 2%.10

I want to report that the Virgin RS maturing today has appeared in my bank account. I know I'm in forbidden territory for anything about Virgin, but I can't get to page 2 of the threads. Sorry2

They say they would write before 16th April …. no sign of any communication from them here at Bobblehat Villa! If my branch opened RS goes down to 2% @ £500pm I'll still keep it.

Fair play to them.

The I Year Regular Saver (Issue 2) interest rate has stayed at 2.5%. I'm impressed with that and with the Furness Building Society in general for its quality of service.

About time I had a bit of luck - it's usually the other way round for me!
