Does anyone know when Mon BS' launched their Saver Plus Issue 3 please?
Not sure but the interest rate is going down from 1.55% to 1.2% (including a fixed 1% bonus still) from 28 May. And you don't get the 1% bonus unless you make a payment every month for 12 months - so be careful as you will only get 0.2% if you miss one!

    Same with the Christmas saver

I want to report that the Virgin RS maturing today has appeared in my bank account. I know I'm in forbidden territory for anything about Virgin, but I can't get to page 2 of the threads. Sorry

Thanks schiff. I’m also struggling with forum on my phone. At risk of incurring even more wrath😂 how/when did you give maturity instructions. Posted mine 22nd,  no funds yet but did get the letter apologising for the wrong mistake.

TSB Monthly Saver now down to 1% for new accounts. Luckily its a fixed rate for existing holders - I renewed mine yesterday at 2%.
That was lucky.  Renewed mine a couple of weeks ago!

Don't think I've seen this on here yet …. Furness BS dropping interest rates by 0.5% on many variable rate Savings Accounts on 1st May. They say they would write before 16th April …. no sign of any communication from them here at Bobblehat Villa! If my branch opened RS goes down to 2% @ £500pm I'll still keep it.

I've been reliably informed that Furness BS will not be reducing the rate on their (now closed) 2.5% reg saver based on latest BoE interest rate cuts.
    Fair play to them.
Karlie's reliable informant was spot on:

The I Year Regular Saver (Issue 2) interest rate has stayed at 2.5%. I'm impressed with that and with the Furness Building Society in general for its quality of service.

I didn't bother to renew my TSB account last time it matured because 2% was below my threshold at that point, but I saw the writing on the wall and opened a new one exactly a week ago. About time I had a bit of luck - it's usually the other way round for me!
